Great vegan/gluten free options! - Edit
They make so many vegan and gluten free treats, soups, and a lovely vegan empanada pastry. So much flavor and for some of the vegan/gluten free pastries, you can’t tell it’s gluten free too. My favorite to get is the chocolate Mexican shortbread cookies and the red velvet crinkle cookies. They also make very tasty lattes of coffee and teas

Vegan muffins - Edit
One of our favorite places to get a treat when we want something sweet. They always have a great selection of large vegan muffins. Usually they will have some vegan cookies or cupcakes too. One year my boyfriend special ordered a vegan bday cake for me (chocolate with mint icing) and it was gorgeous but a little too sugary for us. They also carry vegan empanadas but I don’t recommend them-a bit bland. The muffins are the best bet here.

Cons: A bit pricey , Wish there were more vegan cookie options

Great Vegan Options! - Edit
Lots of marked vegan options including a variety of super tasty vegan baked goods (muffins, pies) as well as a daily vegan soup and to go meal options. The drinks are really good as well and they carry several vegan milk options. The pumpkin muffin is my absolute favorite. A great place to meet friends, study or grab a quick bite to eat. The only downsides are that they don’t have free parking and outlets for plugging in computers are not easily accessible from most of the seats.
Read moreThere’s been a few times lately where the quality wasn’t consistent on the muffins (way too oily and cooled densely), hopefully they sort that out.

Delicious pies, many options - Edit
Had the vegan salted oat chocolate tart. It was amazing! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Many choices for vegans. I would give five stars, but unfortunately happy cow doesn't allow five stars for restaurants that aren't completely vegan.

Amazing Baked Goods - Edit
I haven’t been to the actual cafe location, but nutmeg comes to my local farmers market and WOW! By far the best vegan muffin/sweet breads I’ve ever had. They aren’t a strictly vegan cafe but their vegan options are absolutely incredible!

Nice place, nice staff, falls short on flavor - Edit
The only vegan options I found were 4 muffins. I bought one of each and sampled a couple of bites of each. Banana, chocolate banana, pumpkin, and carrot, apple, walnut. Out of the 4, the two banana flavors were best and the chocolate banana combo was the better of the two. I just wouldn’t go out of my way for this place and have had by far better vegan baked goods elsewhere. They were very fresh but just had a little bit of an aftertaste and were not as delectable as I had hoped for.
