Best tamales in Tijuana - Edit
I was incredibly happy to find this place after craving tamales for 2 weeks in Tijuana and asking around a bit. Found the previous review that I wasn't sure was still accurate but looked around for this Nuni Tamales place. First we found their brick and mortar location listed here but it was closed, so after asking in the neighborhood we learned the owner was set up (on a saturday) at a nearby Plaza on Av. Jalisco and Calle Colombia called Baristas Bravos. Here you can also get vegan options from a fancy craft coffee shop and a little wine / beer bar that shares an outdoor seating section where the tamales are served as a food option. Others around order things like pizza and bowls and there was a DJ mixing Michael Jackson and other disco and r&b hits. Made for a nice little date atmosphere.

Both were amazing but just hours later I'm already craving more of the black bean tamales, and even the nearby non-vegan workers and patrons lamented that they missed those vegan tamales that I bought the entire stock of.
Got the señora's contact, and she also takes private orders for the tamales and offers tamal cooking classes which we intend on taking up ASAP. I plan on rotating this one into the normal rotation, most likely reaching out the day before to special order the tamales, they're that good.
Pros: Authentic tamales, Incredibly delicious, Cool atmosphere
Cons: 60 pesos per tamal, Limited availability, Not a full restaurant menu
