Stop here if you can - Edit
We cook vegan at home and were lucky to be staying at the Days Inn across the street and discover this very friendly and delicious restaurant. We ate outside instead of bringing food back to the motel. Very fresh and tasty — the kind and generous owner treated us to tastes of other dishes. I never eat okra but their version is very tasty. four stars simply because outdoor area is an unadorned section of parking area. We will plan to stop here in future on our way passing through Connecticut.

That's How It Should Be Done - Edit
Very veg-head friendly. Just very friendly, period. While waiting for our take-out order, we were brought multiple sample plates, feasting before our order arrived. The flavors were as good, and often better, than any I've had in my many travels. We felt like family in the brief time we were there. I am only in town for a few days. but will most likely have another meal or two there.

Cons: Don't believe the menu. More veg options available

Authentic Lebanese food - Edit
We tried the vegan platter and it was delicious and huge. Hummus, falafel, roasted beets, taboli salad, seasoned potatoes and egg plant 3 ways with plenty of warm thin bread to eat with. We got take out and sat outside.

Beloved in Bethel - Edit
Great spot in a convenient location on Route 6, running along I-84 in Bethel, Connecticut. We stopped by thanks to HappyCow reviews and the owner was excited to serve us some vegan cuisine. He offered us either the ‘vegan combo’ (green beans, hummus, potatoes, salad) or the ‘falafel combo’ (falafel, hummus, tabouleh, salad). We went with the falafel - an amazing choice. The outside were light, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The inside was flavorful and delicious. Super clean and tasty. They left us beyond satisfied. The salad was massaged and perfectly dressed; super fresh and fun. Romaine, spinach, and other leafy greens along with radish, onion, and tomato. The tabouleh was also incredibly fresh. The owner was kind and hospitable, we appreciated his knowledge on Veganism and the time he took to be sure to suit our tastebuds and needs. (*the baba ganoush is not vegan, he was very clear with us about this*) The best part about our visit was the hot spinach pie he pulled from the oven. We each tried a piece and agreed it was the best we ever had. The dough was perfectly cooked, and the filling hit the right notes for both of us. The spinach was flavorful with the perfect amount of lemon, olive, and onion. This place should not be missed. They are cooking up some beautiful food with a lot of love and care. Enjoy!

Great Lebanese Food for Everyone - Edit
If you’re interested in trying something new in the area, you must visit this place. They offer various meats, vegetarian and vegan options. We love the ful mudammas, a dish made from fava beans and the vegan platter. They make great falafel too. If you go on a Saturday night you can get dinner and an interactive show, but be prepared to work for your food as they teach you to belly dance.
