Quick and delicious - Edit
Got the veggie hash with sourdough and it was delicious! Good hunks of tofu and the veggies were flavorful. Sat at the counter for faster service and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Great staff too!

5 stars!!!! - Edit
I ordered the veggie hash with Cajun tofu, sourdough bread, and avocado toast. It came with a side of fresh fruit. Omg. It was sooo delicious and I left feeling very satisfied. We had a short 20 min wait around 10am on a Wednesday. This is a popular spot and for good reason! The decor was sweet and the staff was friendly.

Great service and knowledgeable server. Thank you Luis! I had the veggie burrito with tofu—red sauce on the side. With a side of sourdough toast. To drink I had a hazelnut latte with oat milk.

Good veggie hash. - Edit
Finding a place that offers a vegan breakfast in Estes Park was a challenge. Fortunately, Notchtop has a few solid options. I had the veggie hash and it was very good. The coffee is decent and the menu has many standard breakfast options for those who eat eggs and dairy.

Limited vegan options, however they do have alt milk. Vegan hash was tasty & I would return. My dining companions enjoyed their non-veg plates too.

The vegan burrito was really good and really big! The tomato based sauce that’s on top, for some reason, was super good lol The portion sizes were large, our waitress was super nice and knowledgeable, and they even had oat milk for my coffee!

Lots of options, large portions, and cheap! - Edit
My partner and I loved this little café. We ordered the veggie burrito with tofu instead of eggs and a veggie hash with tofu. We received large portions of delicious food that made us hikers very satisfied. Everything was a great price and had great service. The only downside is that they aren't open later than 3 pm.

Meat in my veggie hash - Edit
Similar to some other reviewers, I also found a piece of dead animal flesh in my hash. I spoke to one of the cooks and I don't think it's anything malicious on their part, they just don't do a very good job with cross-contamination. Their explanation is that everything is cooked on the same surface, and sometimes when things get busy, bits of food can accidentally cross between dishes.
Read moreWhile I do appreciate them not charging me for the meal or my coffee, I can't recommend this place due to the pattern of issues. If you do want to eat here, I'd suggest getting something that will be harder to mess up; i.e. the oatmeal.
Pros: Good coffee, Friendly service
Cons: Meat in food, Vegan options not clearly marked, No vegan pastries/baked goods

Amazing burrito - Edit
I got the veggie burrito with tofu and it was so good. It had a really ripe avocado with it and I got the red sauce that usually goes on top, on the side. I would totally go back.

Good vegan breakfast option - Edit
We enjoyed the vibe here. They have several vegan options on the menu. I was expecting a lot more flavor in the Cajun tofu but since we live next door to Louisiana and have tons of Cajun and Creole food at home maybe my expectations of Cajun in Colorado were too high. You can definitely add Tabasco or Cholula at the table though. Large portion served of the veggie hash made with the tofu. Also they have plant milk which I like for my tea. Great service with friendly staff. Expect a crowd though in this town next to Rocky Mountain National Park.

More of a diner. The waiter didn't know what vegan means (i almost ordered the veggie scramble cause he said it was vegan, when i asked if it's from tofu he said - no it's eggs). I ended up getting the veggie hash with tofu which was fine. Will not go again

Ate bacon today - Edit
Well I ate bacon for the first time in 7 years. I ordered a veggie wrap with tofu and no pesto. No where on the description was bacon mentioned on a VEGGIE wrap. The staff took my plate back to the kitchen to show the manager and the item was taken off my bill. Although there are vegan options, when I mentioned doing the wrap vegan, staff had no idea what that meant.

Veggie burrito with crisped Cajun tofu. Veggie hash with crisped Cajun tofu. Sourdough toast. Two little bowls of water-based oatmeal with cranberries and almond milk on the side. Go ahead and order those😄the meal wasn’t spicy at all, mildly seasoned.

Had the veggie hash which they were happy to make with olive oil instead of butter! Really tasty and a large portion. Service was super friendly and quick. Did not experience the cross contamination of the comment below me, but their experience does concern me a bit.

So Disappointed. - Edit
My friend and I are both vegan and wanted to give this place a try since they had vegan options - she ordered the veggie hash and I ordered the veggie burrito. When our food had arrived there was cheese melted on the top of my burrito. I told my waitress (who was super nice) that I didn't realize cheese was on the burrito because I didn't remember seeing it on the menu when I had ordered it. She then told me that the veggie burrito was not supposed to have cheese on it so she took it back. I was a little disappointed because instead of making me a new burrito, they just scraped the cheese off and drowned it in sauce. I didn't want to make a scene or waste the food so I told them that I would still eat it. Fast forwarding....my friend found a tiny piece of bacon in her veggie hash halfway through eating it.. she also accidentally ate some before that - this was the first time she had eaten meat in over two years so she got sick to her stomach. We told the waitress and she took it back to the kitchen for it to be recooked...a few minutes later I also found a stringy piece of fatty bacon in my burrito. When I told the waitress she was so embarrassed and, again, brought it back to be remade. We ended up taking our food to go because we no longer had an appetite. The owner ended up taking those items off of our bill for us, which we really appreciated! The next day I reheated my food and guess what? I found more bacon in it. Whoever was cooking that day seemed to have been purposely putting meat into our food to...spite vegans? I don't know. I would not recommend eating here if you are vegan or vegetarian, because they clearly cannot be trusted. The food was really good, it's just a shame that the kitchen staff does not take cross-contamination seriously or respect those with dietary restrictions.

Cute place with friendly staff. They had several vegan options with tofu, including a veggie burrito, veggie hash, veggie wrap, and the impossible burger which my fiance really enjoyed. Would definitely come here again on our next visit to Estes Park.
