Sushi was really good,
Read moreRaman was not good.
I got the spicy creamy
( was not spicy whatsoever)
the noodles were too doughy, did not hold flavor well.
Partner got yakisoba noodles
in which they did not like.
It’s a bummer cause it’s the
first time they got to try
vegan noodles (they aren’t vegan/ plant based )
Definitely a waste of money on the noodles.
Pros: Sushi
Cons: Pricey , Ramen

Fully vegan Sushi/Japanese - Edit
Everything we ordered was devoured. Delicious mocktails. My favorite was the tempura vegetables and the two rolls we chose that were fried. Hahaha. But everything was delicious.

Amazing vegan sushi - Edit
This is the perfect 100% plant based sushi restaurant I’ve been waiting for!! The crunchy roll and gyoza were so tasty, nice atmosphere and we had a wonderful server Mark who was very helpful! It’s perfect for date night, friends or family gatherings. Slightly upscale and nice atmosphere.

Best food in Austin - Edit
We visited Austin for 10 days and this was my fave restaurant. There are so many interesting items on the menu that it’s easy to go back multiple times and not have the same thing twice. Also brunch!

Best vegan sushi! - Edit
This is a perfect place for a special occasion! The sushi rolls are innovative and outstanding, and the appetizers and desserts as well! We’ve tried the impossible gyoza, brussels sprouts, dragon and spider maki rolls, katsu curry, spicy creamy ramen, and lava cake dessert. We enjoyed the sushi and apps more than the ramen/mains (these were pricier too), but it’s all worth a try!

Yummy - Edit
Always excited to try vegan Japanese anywhere, so finding Nori here in Austin Texas was a delight! And it lives up to its hype! We came for dinner last night and it was sensational! Very inventive rolls, executed perfectly. We loved it so much we made a reservation for brunch, which had a roll called the Manhattan that was incredible, with some Just Egg, smoked carrot, cream cheese, mango and garlic tempura. Ultimately I couldn’t give 5 stars as clearly they are still finding their footing with brunch as the tofu scramble was lackluster and the chicken and waffles looked a lot better than the actual taste…but definitely recommend you come here and try for yourself!

This is a rave review. - Edit
I am often delighted, I’m rarely stunned. Nori is stunning.
Read moreThe nigiri is beautiful and playful. It honors the flavors of its adventurous components: strawberry, mushroom, tamarind, marinated tomato…
The Lions Mane steak with potato, broccoli and onion rings were an experience I’d forgotten could be had. Warm and hearty and ultimate comfort food.
I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
The outdoor patio is just as elevated as the sushi bar inside.
Pros: Playful flavours, Generous portions, Perfect atmosphere

Wow All Around! - Edit
I am in love with this place! The sushi and nigiri is phenomenal, as well as the spring rolls and ceviche. The chocolate lava cake for dessert was melt-in-your-mouth-amazing, could have eaten 2 by myself. To make the experience even better, the service was very friendly and attentive, and the decor and ambience is sophisticated and next level zen. We’re only in town for a week and we’ve already made another reservation. Hands down a must-visit if you’re in Austin, plant-based, and a fan of Japanese food.

Food was great, service was eh - Edit
We sat outside, and the service for outside was not great. It felt like we were forgotten many times. The food was amazing when it did come out. It’s a bit expensive, but worth trying. We had some rolls, noodles, and a great lava cake.

Incredible! You gotta eat here - Edit
Beautiful restaurant with great LA vibe. The food here is so good and I wanted to try everything! The ramen is spectacular (both types); gyoza is good (it has impossible meat if that’s your thing); but the Brussels sprouts were the best app. Waitress recommended 2 rolls (dragon and shiitake). Both were fantastic.

Awesome atmosphere great food! - Edit
Love that this spot is fully vegan. I try to make healthy choices when eating out and chose to eat the sushi rolls without tempura or fried which were about 5 different rolls. (Rainbow, California, Manhattan…)
Read moreAll the rolls are very filling and are bigger in size than I’m used to seeing which makes up for their prices.
I personally don’t care for fake meats but the tuna tasted exactly like real tuna and even the texture was the same. Non vegans could not tell a difference.
Definitely check this place out!
Pros: All vegan , Big portions
Cons: Expensive

Very good - Edit
Overall, the experience was very good. Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. Clean and well designed. It was a bit expensive and I wasn’t too impressed with the Onigiri as it was a bit bland and quite expensive for what you get. I also had the yakisoba noodles which were very good! We also tried the volcano sushi roll and it was solid.

Best sushi of my life (Serious) - Edit
I am a vegan sushi snob, I roll a pretty darn good platter myself, and this place blew me away! Each of their signature maki rolls were incredible. I can't decide what I liked more between the Dragon Roll and the Shiitake roll, so I'm going back again once more before I leave town!
