Vegan gem in this country - Edit
Amazing food, large portions. I was shocked to realize how much Norway is into animal cruelty for absolutely everything: food, clothes, decoration, etc. It's embedded into the culture consistenly at all levels.

Lovely buffet style lunch, nice staff and atmosphere - Edit
Great for a quick, tasty and filling vegan lunch. Staff welcoming and being able to see the food helped me choose.
Read moreI enjoyed the fried dumplings and enchilada with salad and hummus a lot.
Bought 2 cake slices and a brownie to take away, the lid for the container seems to be plastic but recycled. Brownie in a paper bag.

Overrated, perhaps? - Edit
Staff weren’t welcoming nor helpful. Bowls were delicious but sheperd’s pie and lasagna already made. I don’t understand such top rating. Nordvegan reminded me of college cheap restaurants.

Staff just ignoring everyone, food ok-ish - Edit
We booked a table here after seeing so many good reviews, but on arrival had to wander around and just seat ourselves after waiting at the counter where staff were busying themselves cleaning the coffee machine instead of saying hi, wasn't clear if we should go up to order (seemed like a couple of people got table service but everyone else had to go up?) Wouldn't have minded if the food was more exciting but it was fairly bland, portion size was good but I wouldn't come again.

I got you. We had reservation, after waiting for someone of the staff to get eye contact, we were told were to sit and nothing else.

Michelin Star? - Edit
Small vegan eatery with order at the counter and self seat service by Michelin Star chef

So we had heard great things about this restaurant. Sadly we did not have a good experience. We got the Shepard’s Pie and the Rainbow salad. The Shepard’s pie was basically all potato - had no real flavor, it was supposed to have other filling but it was so minimal and lacking in effort, it was just very disappointing. It’s supposed to come with quinoa and salad - our server gave us very little quinoa; we saw other patrons ordering similar dishes with much more. The Rainbow salad was extremely boring and they were out of the soy chicken which was a main appeal and instead of offering perhaps their baked tofu or some other specialty we were only offered an extra side. Water is free. Maybe we got bad dishes but this was a big no from us and disappointing for the money.
Atmosphere****
Indoor and outdoor seating was nice. Seat yourself and restroom available.
Service ***
Counter service was fast but as stated previously, the portions were inconsistent between the servers.

Central Vegan Restaurant - Edit
Lovely to find a fully vegan restaurant in central Oslo. Norway is expensive, and the food is expensive here too, but the portions are large and very fresh. Order at the centre counter from the menu board, then take your food to a table. The staff is friendly and multilingual. The chocolate cake is especially good!

Vegan haven in Oslo - Edit
Not going to lie, it’s difficult to find pure vegan restaurants in Oslo. We booked a table here for lunch and we are glad we did. We enjoyed a heathy and tasty lunch. The concept isn’t as flexible as we had hoped but the options were good. I had a pad Thai with spring roll.

Plant based restaurant with many options available. We chose the soup (spinach and cashew), served with olive oil and a slice of focaccia. The soup was delicious, but the portion size was rather small for the price we have paid.

Small portions, we payed 40 euros for two main courses and a starter and additional 13 euros for two desserts. I suppose this is not pricey for Norway.
