Is no longer fully vegetarian

Been dabbling in eating vegetarian occasionally lately and Norbert’s was always a good option, especially for late night eats. That being said, my partner and I stopped by here and the menu is now SUPER pared down. For now, they have 3-4 vegetarian slices, 1 meat slice, and 4 vegan options. No more pastas, no garlic knots, etc. Not sure what the new menu will look like in the future, but they will be changing the name, adding alcohol (they finally have a toilet) and will have DJ nights. The hours will be around the same.

Pros: Vegetarian/Vegan options

Cons: No longer fully vegetarian, Limited menu

Nice option when you are starving at night

Nice and quick pizzeria. Arrived there at 10pm and the slices were very hard and flavourless. Super cheap though

Tiny, affordable hidden gem in Bushwick

I got a Chik’n pesto slice and a meat lover’s and neither disappointed. They also have vegan wings, desserts, garlic knots, and pastas #Veganuary

One of the best vegan pizza places in brooklyn

Don’t know if many places to get a great vegan pie here in brooklyn. Norbert’s is doing it Brooklyn style with a vegan twist and they are killing it!

Pizza advice

Nice, lowkey veggie pizza spot in Brooklyn. Stumbled upon it when I was at a bar in the area and need real food. Quick and reasonably priced. Pizza and cheese textures are perfect, but they need more robust flavors. Would go back if I’m in the area.

Pros: Decent pizza , Multiple options , Cozy

Cons: Flavors can improve

Ok pizza

The restaurant is cute and the staff are friendly.. but sadly the vegan pizza was really just okay. Pesto base, with not much taste. It seems like menu online is not the same from the restaurant so we arrived disappointed.
Wouldn’t go out of my way for this pizza.

long live norbert's

look, the hours and toppings may be erratic, and for that matter, so may be which location(s) they're operating in the past decade, but like I said, long live nobert's. the current locale across from mr. kiwi's is a gem, and the new look in the past year or so gives this old school vegan hope that there are more years & memories of late night spices and working ovens to come....

on my last visit, the kind dude working even let me design the final vegan pie of the night

recommendation: ask whoever is working to get your slice or pie "crispy"

Pros: all vegetarian!!, sparing on vegan cheese : ), open late (sometimes)

Cons: funky reliability, may not be open...., new look, haha

Good pizza

Got a nice vegan pizza that hit the spot. They told me the switched from Daiya to Violife cheese and this is a definite improvement. Pizza was ready a couple minutes late, but worth the wait. Looks like they’re getting their act together. Hope they bring back the vegan sandwiches

Cute spot, friendly staff, ok pizza

Ok, I'm sorry to the reviewer below, but if they're saying this is the best vegan pizza they've ever had, they clearly have not had much, if any, vegan pizza. There are much better slices in New York (Screamer's most notably, but also Two Boots) alone, but I've had much better pizza outside of the city too.

This place is good at what it is - a local spot that has vegan cheese. They could do the Daiya cheese a bit better though, and add more. There wasn't a lot on the slice we got. That said, the crust was perfect and the location was a cute divey spot. They also had some cheap vegan sandwiches on the menu that I'd go for next.

Also, they were closed when they said they were gonna be open on Google Maps, with no sign listing their hours.

TLDR; ok pizza (not the best by far), good if you are in the area and need cheap eats. I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Pros: vegan slices, friendly staff, Good prices

Cons: not the best pizza

Yay Vegan Pizza

I'm so happy to have a vegan pizza option in the neighborhood! That said it is not the best in the city by far and they are sloooow. I think with time they may improve, more toppings please and creativity with the vegan pies!

Pros: Vegan Pizza

Cons: Only Ok Tasting, Slow
