Walked in the boiling sun only to find the Nook was closed. Looked great from the outside.

Crazy, rude owner has no idea how to talk to people

Nook Eatery provided me with hands-down the worst dining experience I've ever had. I spent a ton of money treating myself to a lavish brunch, and when the last dish arrived, it was covered in chocolate sauce, which was not listed as one of its ingredients on the menu. I can't eat chocolate, so I regretfully informed the kind waitress and asked them to make me another one. Instead, the owner emerged from the kitchen and proceeded to start screaming -- actually screaming from across the room! -- at me that she didn't accept my allergy and that it was my fault and on and on. I've never in my life been yelled at like that or spoken to so rudely by a restaurant owner. I know it's a pain to change a dish for a customer, but in doing so, they would have lost very little compared to what they could gain by having a happy repeat customer who consistently buys a lot of food. When I pointed that out to her, she continued to scream that she didn't care if I ever came back or not. So this customer is lost for good. I also wasted no time telling the next group of tourists on their way in what had just happened, and they changed their plans immediately. I encourage all of you to avoid this place at all costs. The owner is beyond rude, very foolish and apparently batshit insane.

Pros: none, none, At least crazy owner didn't attack me physically.

Cons: Crazy owner, Rude owner, Crazy, rude owner
