Decent, but not what it used to be

**Note: This location USED TO BE as vegan-friendly as it got in Northwest Indiana. Valparaiso has come a long way in vegan dining since Noodles & Co. was added to Happy Cow back in 2009. If you are visiting Valpo, go to Meditrina, Tomato Bar or Valpo Viennas. Don't bother with Noodles & Company.

Review:
Noodles & Co. has Asian, Mediterranean and American noodle dishes. All dishes start vegetarian. You can add tofu or extra veggies for a small cost. They also have soups and salads. Rice crispie treats and cookies for dessert. They serve a few kinds of basic wines if you like a glass of wine with dinner.

It's a casual place where you place your order at the cash register, they give you a number and you pick a table to sit down. They bring your food out to you when it's done. There's outdoor seating in summer.

Note that the Pad Thai is made with fish sauce.

Updated from previous review on Thursday September 01, 2011: Although they offer tofu, most of the suggestions underneath the menu items recommend beef or chicken with your dish, so they get downgraded to 3 cows.

Updated from previous review on Wednesday August 28, 2013: Downgraded to 2 Cows. They still offer tofu as a protein but it is listed on the menu only once now and the person taking your order never suggests it as an add in anymore. Screw this place.

Pros: good food, outdoor seating, fast

Cons: not enough vegan items
