Viet Yum!

They have several great veg options. I really like the braised eggplant w rice ($12). Happy hour also has veg options. Pho, rice dishes, tofu rolls, sooo good. Maybe the best Viet food around.

Pros: Many vegan options, fast kitchen, very good food!

Cons: A bit oily

Really quite wonderful

I love Non La. They have clearly marked vegan options (including a vegan fish sauce replacement) and the staff clearly know and care how to make vegan food. I ordered two meals and an appetizer for pickup through their website: crispy veggie rolls with vegan sauce, a grilled tofu bowl, specifying vegan fish sauce as the dressing and a yellow curry. Within three minutes of ordering I got a phone call from Non La, asking me if I needed the Non La curry (which I incorrectly thought was vegan by default, when it actually is vegan-optional) to be vegan. I said yes and thanked him for catching that, most places wouldn't have cared enough to call!

This is a go to for me whether I am alone or entertaining non-vegans. My favorites are the grilled bowl with tofu and vegan fish sauce vinaigrette, the braised eggplant, crispy veggie rolls, and the salt and pepper tofu appetizer. There is plenty more on the menu that I'm looking forward to try, I'm particularly interested in the tofu banh mi (no mayo).

Incredible food made with LOVE

Stopped in while driving along the 5 and looking for something to fill us up. We were not expecting this to be our new favorite restaurant! The BEST banh mi & braised eggplant I have ever eaten, without a doubt. The vegan beef skewers and pho were also incredible. The food is assembled with sooo much love and extra attention to detail. I was blown away. I loved the pickled carrots that came alongside the braised eggplant. Just go here and order everything vegan.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Outstanding food , Super fresh ingredients

Great food in Tualatin

Surprising amount of vegan options! Nearly every single menu section has something to choose from and they even offer vegan fish sauce. The braised eggplant and chow fun are exceptional.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good waitstaff, Right off I-5

Cons: Atmosphere is very “airy”, not cozy

Best Vegan Phó in Portland!

I have been to numerous Vietnamese restaurants throughout the Portland Metro area and Non La has the best vegan pho broth of them all! The broth as any pho connoisseur knows is the most important aspect of this soup and Non La’s is made in house, not from a broth cube. Their vegan pho comes with fried tofu but if you ask, they will substitute the tofu for their “flank steak” (vegan, made in house “beef”). The veggie stir-fry is my second favorite. They also offer vegan beef skewer with rice or noodles and a vegan curry. No separate vegan menu but the menu is marked and the wait staff is helpful.

Pros: Solid vegan options , Great service , Great atmosphere

Cons: Parking is limited, but plentiful across the st.
