This restaurant is amazing. Everything is vegan which made it very hard to choose a meal because of the many options. I ended up with the winter salad and it tasted delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

The restaurant is located in the middle of Wellington on Cuba Street. We stopped while exploring the city centre and had two great pizzas. They were baked on point and their vegan cheese is absolutely delicious!

Simply the best! - Edit
3 out of 4 nights we were in Wellington, we had dinner here. It did not disappoint! Smashed potatoes with crunchy capers were delicious! The pizzas - very tasty. The dough was perfect. I wished we went here that 4th night as well!

Central location, beautifully designed interior, pleasant music and nice staff. They make their cheeses and meats in-house, which I really appreciate, and it's really difficult to choose from the extensive menu!

Cute pizza restaurant in the heart of Wellington on Cuba Street. Great to see gluten free pizza bases available. We shared the GF Zingara pizza and fries. Need to come back to try the brownie for dessert. Delicious homemade bases, a nice change from restaurants using store bought.

I have been wanting to try Nolita for months and it was definitely worth the wait! The atmosphere is lovely and the food is amazing! We tried the Mozzarella Bombas, Gnocco Fritto, Garlic Flat Bread, Rigatiloni con funghi and Ravioli. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Read moreAs for the mozzarella balls, disappointed especially for what they cost. What initially struck me was they were 3 small and 1 significantly larger ball, but that didn’t bother me. They were close to cold. They came out within minutes of ordering which makes me think they were pre-made and just sat around.
I complimented the staff on the pizza but when I raised the cold mozzarella balls, they quickly brushed it off and walked off. Not the response I’d expect from good customer service.

Definitely the best Italian vegan meal I’ve had - Edit
The vegan “meats” was probably the highlight of this meal, the grilled chicken on top of the Caesars Salad was a perfect replica, the Italian sausage was similarly authentic tasting.
Read moreEverything else was top quality as well - the pizza base was excellent and the pasta tasted more like fresh (i.e. with egg) than dried pasta.
I’d highly recommend it as the top vegan choice in Wellington from what I sampled.

Oh gosh, all I can say is Thank you so much for providing not only the most delicious vegan food but somewhere that was warm on a cold Wellington night and such excellent service. Couldn't rate this palce high enough. The pizza dough was perfect and the in house made cheese on the pizza, delicious. The artichoke dish was sooo good. The cocktails were delicious. Everything we had was delicious. We could have licked the plates. The service staff were fabulous and greeted us warmly as we entered the door. We couldn't fault the place at all. Wish we were staying in Wellington longer so we could eat here again.

Let me tell you, this is a great place with exquisite food and a vibrant atmosphere. Vegan Italian is arguably some of the best food on the planet. We shared a paperdelle pomodoro pasta richly infused with a delicious tomato sauce and a seitan chicken pizza topped with cashew mozzarella and smoked cheddar cheese. The South Island Pinot Grigio we picked to have with the food was fantastic. You wouldn’t find a wine of this quality being exported to the Brexit-ridden UK or probably anywhere else for that matter. It was so good here we visited a second time a few days later and had the ravioli and cannelloni dishes which were preposterously divine. A place like this will stay in your memories for a very long time.

Read moreWe tried as many dishes on the menu as possible during our few days in Wellington (it’s a tough job but someone has to do it!), including the Tartufo pizza (incredible dough base) and Tuscan Alfredo (pasta at its best). Also the ‘chicken’ Parma sandwich, Reuben burger and Hash Stack. The flavours were all amazing. The dessert menu also blew me away. The cannoli was to die for!

We have very much enjoyed our time at Nolita and were glad that we came early as it got very busy even on a Monday night. Best to book a table in advance. The food was awesome and we loved the big choice of different dishes. Check the photos to see for yourself ;)
