Okay

There are so many restaurants in Palo Alto, I don’t know if I would have chosen this one had I looked around. Small portions for the price. Okay service. Okay atmosphere.

Pros: A couple vegan options

Cons: Small portions

Delicious Cajun food

I can also highly recommend the vegan jambalaya. This place is a hidden gem with several vegan options and a lovely courtyard seating area.

Fabulous jambalaya

NOLA is a staple in Palo Alto, and their food is definitely something to write home about. You need to put your name down instead of a reservation, so get there early (or have a drink at the bar). The food is amazing and vegan options are labeled clearly. We had the vegan jambalaya and fried brussel sprouts. The only other piece of advice is order starters before you pay for mains, because it will all come out at once (or out of order).

Pros: Great food

Great flavors and options

I have loved Nola for years and now that I eat plant based, I discovered the great options here. We really enjoyed the vegan jambalaya. The veggie po-boy was delish too, but does have cotija cheese. Can't wait to come back to try the other options.

Pros: Lots of vegan and veggie options.

Vegan jambalaya

I recommend the vegan jambalaya. Some dishes can be made vegan and the menu notes that but the best stuff are the ones that were already vegan.
