Great range of options - Edit
Vegan items are clearly labelled on the menu and portions were huge!! I had the vegan burger which although nothing groundbreaking was nice to have the option for some vegan meat and cheese. Very reasonably priced, huge portions and lovely staff. The setting was great too and would definitely return here on another visit!

Huge Portions, Healthy and Delicious - Edit
My husband and I both had the Vegan Kebobs, which I highly recommend. It was a HUGE portion, which we could have easily shared, but I took half home for a midnight snack. Absolutely delicious, fresh and a huge variety of vegetables. The dish with all taxes and gratuity included was under $20, so extremely well priced for such good quality and quantity of food. Great service. We are coming back again for the sunset.

Vegan options on the beach. - Edit
Quite a few vegan options, which is good, and for once it has a local touch and is not fast food. Nothing to write home about taste wise but still agréable to have the choice. Dishes are quite large.

Beachside dining under the trees - Edit
Ambience is just right for Costa Rica and an easy beach walk from several hotels in Tamarindo. Extensive vegan menu with pantacones, ceviche, charcuterie board, beyond burger, and two traditional Costa Rican dishes made vegan. Our favorite was the patacones or Flores plantains served with pico, guac and black bean spread. One of our favorite vegan friendly spots in Tamarindo

Delicious Vegan Casado - Edit
Beach front restaurant with a small vegan section of the menu. I ordered their vegan Casado and it was the best meal of my trip! It came with rice, beans, fried plantain, salad and more! The chips with guacamole and pico de gallo were a delicious starter and my non-vegan friends were incredibly happy with their meals too!

Pincho - Edit
Good location, slow service and expensive (specially the drinks, but at least the tax is included). I ordered the vegan kebab/pinchos and it was SOOOOO GOOD! The dish is huge with many small, different and delicious items. I recommend it a lot!

Can’t beat the location - Edit
Really nice to have so many vegan options, including local casada. The beyond burger was a tad undercooked for my liking but I would still order it again. I had the banana/macadamia pancakes when we went back and although they were a bit plain they tasted great. Flies are everywhere and a bit annoying but in my opinion still very worth it given the view and being so close to the water.

Separate vegan menu with several options - Edit
Nice restaurant on the beach with a separate vegan menu. Had the vegan kebabs which were delicious and came in a larger late with rice, beans, salad, plantains, etc. Great place to try more local cuisine.

Service slow but the food was nice and was a large portion. The coffee was incredible too (had an almond milk latte). Would recommend. Note they add tax and a service charge on top of advertised prices.

They have a vegan menu to select from which has several options on it. The beach-front seating is literally on the beach, which is a great experience. When we had dinner, they had a fire dancer performing on the beach.

Great Vegan Option Beach Sopt - Edit
We've been to Noguis several times, for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We really enjoy the location on the beach, and the friendly staff. They have a vegan section at the back of their menu offering starters, mains, and dessert. Portions are good and filling, prices are reasonable. Sometimes they can't make the vegan pancakes or waffle (be aware gluten free is seperate from vegan) so just make sure to ask. We like the breakfast granola parfait, tacos, vegan casado, and vegan platter, but there are also some great salads and other yummy items using local ingredients too. And the pineapple cake with coconut ice cream tops everything off.

Got the vegan Casado and it was so so good. The mashed taro was so creamy and one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Portion looked small, but I left super full. Skip the vegan pie. It was basically a pile of melty sugar with ice cream on top

La hamburguesa súper recomendada. El ceviche de plátano puede mejorar 7.5/10 creo que no estaba marinado, pero sirve para quitarse el antojo. El lugar bonito, con opción de sentarse en la playa y alcohol en gel en cada mesa.

Delicious - Edit
I had the yucca with mashed beans and the Vegan Casado plate. Both were super delicious and pretty well spiced. The rice was just plain brown rice which was a little disappointing as everyone else that didn’t order vegan had flavored rice. Overall it was a delicious vegan option.

Loved the vegan options in this restaurants located right on the beach. There is an entire page of vegan items so nice selection. The prices were incredibly low and service was also great. Getting a spot on the beach required a little wait but we had a drink at the bar. Highly recommend.

Nice place, enjoyed my meal - Edit
Contrary to others I did not have issues with the soup! For me it came without egg, really just as stated on the menu. However you never know if they put anything into the soup... I can't guarantee for that. Looooooooved the soup! So yummy! Could eat it all the time. Usually not a going out for food person I find it strange that service fees are added afterwards so the bill is always higher than you think. I don't like to have to calculate that much.
Read moreAwesome was that they first told me they don't have the vegan pie but then came back a few minutes later and told me they will have some in about half an hour and it was worth the wait. Didn't look pretty as it was still warm but I enjoyed it! The coconut cream was not that great though but could have been a less processed product than some vegan whipping creams.
The staff speaks English but could be a bit happier and smile more, to me they looked a bit annoyed.
When wanting to pay with my Aussie card which worked everywhere else so far it didn't work with their machine, he tried twice. Apparently the internet is unstable. Had to pay cash and he gave me off a few colones.
Pros: Did they best to provide everything requested, Nice location, Tasty food
Cons: Got to add additional fees when judging prices, Machine for card payment did not work

USE CAUTION - Edit
WARNING: They do not understand what VEGAN means. I ordered a bean soup FROM THE VEGAN MENU and it came with a nice freshly cut up boiled EGG. A FULL EGG. I went immediately to the manager who informed me "Oh, for this particular dish you need to ask for it without egg"..........my only wish in life is that I had an infinite amount of palms and an infinite amount of faces so I would NEVER have to stop slapping one on the other.

Fantastic beach views! - Edit
This is a sweet little place for lunch or dinner right on Tamarindo beach. It’s been established since the 70s too! There’s a separate vegan menu with multiple options for starters and mains. We opted for the yucca fries (starter), vegan kebobs and vegan table board - all were good, but sharing them was even better. If I was picking one meal, it would be the kebobs. The vegetables were really nicely chargrilled and it came with simple rods, beans and a papaya hash which was great and added freshness to the dish. The absolute standout for me was the vegan pineapple pie - warm pineapple on a base of halva (sesame seed paste with sugar). Flakey, sweet and delicious... it came with a serving of coconut cream as well! Absolutely delicious.
