Weird place, run by a totalitarian sect

We drove by Marktheidenfeld along the A3 and were surprised to see so many vegetarian options right next to the Motorway, in some tiny village. The solution to this mystery was that all these places belong to a crazy totalitarian sect, which calls itself the Universal Life (Universelles Leben) and was founded in Würzburg, quite close to here. You should definitely read their wikipedia page before you decide whether you would like to go!

If you are desperate for food and on the motorway, this can be a good option for a quick stop. But please be aware what kind of business this is - everybody who works here is a member of this sect and you are supporting some crazy people when eating here. There is a lot of subversive propaganda to be found here as well, like the ubiquitous brochures and the 'library' with the cafe attached.

This shoe place here has actually reasonably priced shoes (but with horrible designs) and the atmosphere of the whole place is just awkward.

Pros: ???

Cons: Run by a totalitarian sect, Awful decoration, Horrible atmosphere

Hi! I'm glad you picked up on the people behind this shop and, sadly, various other seemingly vegand and healthy undertakings. The sect used to run a health-food stall at the Viktualienmarkt in Munich, but that seems to have gone. Personally, I think this listing should be removed.
