A small cafe on the main street in the small town of Innerleithen. Serves lunch, snacks and a selection of cakes and sweet snacks. Makes sandwiches from scratch. Has two or three different vegan sandwiches depending on the day and always has at least one vegan cake. An example of a sandwich is roasted red pepper, rocket, balsamic vinegar, tomato and avocado on toasted fresh bread. Also offers a range of hot drinks all with plant milk options. Open Mon 08:00-16:30, Thu-Sun 08:00-16:30. Closed Tue-Wed.

Tiffins to die for! - Edit
Was just passing through this town and noticed this place on Happy Cow. I’m so glad we stopped by. It’s a lovely little cafe with a good atmosphere. Had burritos and cake (blueberry and banana cake and tiffin) - all vegan and all delicious. The tiffin was SO good I had to get some more to takeaway. Dog friendly.

Cute cafe with decent options - Edit
This little vegetarian cafe was a lovely place to stop for lunch, with plenty of vegan options and friendly staff. I had the New York Deli Wrap, which was tasty. The coffee was very good (I had an oat milk flat white, and then a chai latte), though I was slightly disappointed with the Bakewell Tart (I should have spotted this was gluten-free - I often find gf cakes a little dry). They were closing as we were leaving, and they sweetly offered us their leftover scones to take home for free. Would definitely come back here if I’m ever in the area again!

Very good food for walking - Edit
We stopped here before heading for the hills, and the coffee and cake were excellent. The vegan chocolate cake contained enough energy for a whole day's hiking. The meal options looked very interesting, so we'll be back for more.

Cons: Nothing much. Might be noisy during 'rush' hour.

Decent - Edit
I've passed by this place many times on my bicycle and hadn't known it was vegetarian. They don't flaunt it, which although it meant it took a while for me to visit, I like a lot. Friendly but busy. They serve a local coffee roasters and they brew it well. Just had a cake on this visit but there may be more another time. Will go back.

Good option - Edit
If you’re in Innerleithen. Bit touristy but that’s their target market I guess. Not too many vegan option when we arrived as it was a busy day but they’re usually better as we understand. The coffee is decent and it had been a while since I had a decent scone & cream - great for the jubilee weekend. Staff were a bit rushed / cold / non-chatty but that didn’t bother us much.

Love this little cafe - Edit
Visited this place loads of times. It’s a great little cafe for sandwiches or a vegan breakfast. They have a good selection of vegan options, cakes and plant milks. It does get busy at lunchtime and seating is limited as it’s pretty small but service is fast and we’ve never had to wait for that long. Super friendly staff and the owner is vegan and bakes their cakes in-house. Very popular with cyclists and outdoor seating.
