Excellent Food! - Edit
Wow, just WOW! My husband and I don't drink but we are vegan. I've heard great things about No Bones, but I had no idea it would be THIS GOOD! I had the nachos, which were just delicious. House-made tortilla chips smothered in poblano cashew queso, grilled black bean and corn salsa, and cilantro crema topped with fresh tomato, charred jalapeños and cilantro garnish ADD Spiced Jackfruit Carnitas or Fresh Guacamole. I put them on my list of Top 5 Best Nachos.
Read moreMy husband got the Buffalo Tofu Salad and Coastal Chowder. I don't know what they did to that salad but it was herbalicious! I can't even believe it was that good, no joke! I'm surprised I even got a bite with the way he inhaled it. The chowder was amazing, the nori really set it off. The atmosphere is very cute and the restrooms are as well. It's a small place, so if you're starving get there early. I can't wait to go back, I'm really looking forward to trying everything on their menu! Top Notch!
Pros: All Vegan, Great Atmosphere, Delicious Food!

Was pretty good! - Edit
Cool beach vibe! We went on a Monday afternoon so sat quickly and food came out fast. I thought it was a little pricey for style of food. It’s all vegan tho so it’s got my vote either way. I had a Thai style salad, jalapeño poppers and hubs had a tofu sandwich

My favorite!! - Edit
After just one visit, this is now one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Seattle! To start, I ordered the eggplant spears which were excellent. For my meal, I ordered the the sweet pineapple and soy curl lettuce wraps which were even better that I expected. So much flavor and so delicious! They rotate dessert selections here, not sure exactly what I got, but it was just ok, definitely not the highlight of the meal. Can’t wait to go back!

Just okay, and very cramped. - Edit
I’ve been here a few times, and each time I haven’t been wowed by the food or drinks. The restaurant is also super cramped as well! I was elbowing someone at a completely different table every time I had to get up. So far, my favorite things have been the fries and nachos, but the entrees have fallen flat for me. I want to love this place so much because the food and aesthetic is so pretty, but for the price, how uncomfortable it is, and the amount/quality of food you receive it isn’t worth it for me to go back in the foreseeable future.

Some hits & some misses - Edit
Love No Bones, if I lived in Seattle it would totally be my go to! The nachos were amazing and the drinks were also on point. You definitely get good portions and great quality.
Read moreUpdate: we came back for brunch and both of our meals were floating in oil. I’m not a health food vegan and I don’t mind some oil in my food but both of us were disappointed in the things we picked. I think some of the dishes are hits here and others are misses.

The fun place - Edit
Spicy done right with the cauliflower buffalo wings and stuffed poblano pepper. Yummy Kahuna bagel and great lemongrass tea and ginger ale.... all delightful for our heart and health. Lovely space with great music and kind hearted staff. Repeat visits guaranteed. What a wonderful concept!!!!!!!

Excellent vegan food and fun atmosphere! - Edit
Went here with my parents on a Sunday night. The place was a lot smaller than I thought. Inside is completely different. It’s heavily decorated to make you feel like you’re at a beach club.
Read moreAll the food was delicious. Ordered the nachos, which were the absolute best! The chips were crOnchy and homemade.
We ordered the flautas, poke bowl, and a burger. My jackfruit flautas were amazing! Crunchy and the jackfruit tasted just like meat (minus the cruelty!) Plus they were perfect portion. I had about a bite of leftovers that was soggy (but still good) the next day. The poke bowl was absolutely delicious, and so was the burger.
I’d say it’s expensive, but then again we all ordered drinks and an appetizer.
Pros: Not a bad thing on the menu, Nice atmosphere , Next door is vegan donuts (Mighty-O!)
Cons: Expensive-ish, Kind of hidden (down the side of Mighty-O)

Good service - Edit
Excellent service here, chicken tender special was excellent, Bhan mi was tasty but tofu was a bit bland. Additionally fish and chips was also a bit bland. Did not love the raw undressed spinach in the dish. Nachos were excellent!

Extremely overrated - Edit
I really want to like this place being one of the only vegan options in Ballard, but it's just not good. Everything is extremely unhealthy, but isn't even good. Like I'm fine with it being unhealthy, but unhealthy with no flavor??? Also extremely overpriced for the quality and portion size

Can't go wrong! - Edit
I went with a group of friends and we ordered as much as we could to try out all of the amazing variety. Everything was delicious! I particularly liked the Buffalo tofu salad and the virgin coconut mojito. This is also an excellent place for people who don’t eat gluten or nuts. I’m definitely going back the next time I’m in Seattle and I think this will become a regular hang out for my non-vegan friends who live in the area! The atmosphere is upbeat and fun with indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are really friendly.
Read moreAug 2019 - I went back on my next trip to Seattle and loved it again! The Amazeballs (deep fried macaroni balls) were amazing and a massive meal - I definitely couldn't eat more than 1 ball in a sitting. The Sweet Pineapple and Soy Curl Sizzling Lettuce Wraps are such a nice blend of flavors and a creative meal to have.
Oh also, you really have to go into both bathrooms to check them out :-)

Good place to go - Edit
Small restaurant with a few outside seatings. We had good and really 🔥 buffalo cauliflower wings, ceasar salad and lettuce wraps. I loved the wraps. You have to fill them yourself but the taste is great. Grilled pineapple and soy curls, avocado and curried cashews gave a tasty mixture.

Terrible Service, Worst vegan food I’ve ever had - Edit
Terrible service, and the worst vegan food I’ve ever had. I would give them negative stars if I could. Their limeade is just watered down lime juice, it wasn’t sweet at all. They served us burnt soy curls, which we had to pick through, we left it on a separate plate to show our server who completely disregarded it. It was also so sweet it tasted like they were dipped in syrup. We also ordered the fish and chips, they gave me a lemon slice (for the rim of a drink) instead of a wedge. I tried to squeeze it, but it was impossible. When I asked for a wedge my server informed they were aware I didn’t get a wedge, but the kitchen didn’t have any CUT lemons and they would have to make it tomorrow again. I didn’t understand what that meant AND I work in a vegan kitchen as well, so I asked her if they could just cut a lemon. She rolled her eyes and gave me so much attitude said “I guess”. She came back, tossed 3 wedges on our table without a word. The fish was also just breaded firm tofu with absolutely no flavour, so I didn’t eat too much of it. Our server came back a couple minutes later while we were eating with food in our mouth and asked if we wanted a box for everything.... both of us had to finish chewing before we could even answer. The food was bad, but tolerable, it was the server’s attitude that absolutely ruined our dinner experience all because I asked her for a lemon wedge.

SO GOOD - Edit
Only been once, but can’t wait to go back. Seriously good vegan comfort food, definitely try the mac and cheese balls! And the avocado tacos!! Good portion sizes too. Went about 45 min before closing on a Wednesday & didn’t have a wait, but can tell it definitely gets very busy during peak hours.
