Everything can be vegan
Great little veggie cafe with vegan options for everything on the menu. Mostly open toasted sandwiches and salad bowls. Vegan sausage rolls and cakes too. Try the vegan version of the bacon, egg and avocado sandwich - really good!
Pros: Oat oat milk for coffees
New to Nottingham
I think it's brave to open an eatery specialising in veggie and vegan customers as, if you're not careful, you will cut yourself out of 90% of the potential footfall. However , as non-veggies, my wife and I both found delightful items on the menu which were well presented, well priced and very tasty! Richie and Lauren , the owners ,were a real pleasure to meet and I hope lots of other hungry and thirsty shoppers will call in and give No12 a try. Best of Luck to you both.
Pros: Friendly, Well priced, Tastyt food
Cons: Cos it 'veggie' some won't even walk in
Delicious 😋
Really lovely cafe in the heart of Nottingham City centre. Food is delicious and a lot more filling than you thInk. Vegan bacon is epic.
Pros: Oat milk, Everything can be vegan, Locally sourced ingredients
Cons: Fairly small menu
what a find!
Live my happy cow app. It helps me find such wonderful places as this. Had a vegan pastrami and cheese sandwich that was to die for and a hearty., warming sweet potato, chili, coconut soup. All amazing!
Such a friendly place haha
I adore the place and the whole idea and the owners were extremely friendly. However, the food I had was a bit dissapointing. I guess I expected more than a slice of bread with mushrooms for over £5. Would go back to try other options from the menu as after looking it up on social media, they look much better than what I have ordered.
Pros: Friendly staff, Cosy space with a homely feeling
Cons: Bit pricey

Been here twice and both times has lovely meals using fresh ingredients. Went with. Non vegan friend and she loved it. Have recommended to other vegans and vegetarians I know.
Amazing little place.
Amazing little cafe just off the main bussle offering some really lovely options for vegans and vegetarians alike. I had the 'chicken' bowl and it was very good. There was a great selection of cakes and drinks on offer too. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious food, cute restaurant
I loved this place! Such a great find on a day trip in Nottingham. The menu is fantastic and absolutely everything can be made vegan. Great flavours, fantastic staff. If I lived here it’d be my regular place for sure!
Pros: Everything can be vegan, Great flavours , Beautiful presentation
Wonderful find, fantastic food.
Great little place tucked away from the hustle and bustle on houndsgate. Food was extremely yum. Southern chicken dish of little "poppers" tasted delicious and put together nicely with just enough salad and sauce. Great chunky doorstop wedge of granary bread. Great service too by two lovely dedicated individuals.
Pros: All veggie but EVERYTHING could be made vegan! , Delicious grub!!!
Cons: none!
Wholesome goodness
Love this place, I have taken all of my family here. Not only is the food delicious but it is presented well and my 5 year old loves it. We also get take aways. The staff are friendly and take the time to smile and chat with you. You must visit when you are in Nottingham!
Pros: Everything can be veganised!
Best vegan cafe experience
We had brunch today at this amazing veggie/vegan cafe. Everything on the menu can be made vegan, with vegan alternatives to everything! We had the chicken sandwich, bacon avo and egg and the pastrami and whole grain from the brunch menu. Can’t rate it enough. My friend is a meat eater and she was very impressed. Great food, great atmosphere and lovely staff/ owners. Would definitely recommend
Best veggie place in Nottingham
Really delicious and experimental menu for such a cute little place. High quality ingredients used so everything is really flavourful. The owners Lauren and Ritchie are so friendly and lovely to talk to. Really good value for the standard of food you get. Good sized portions for a lunch😄my favourite place for a vegan breakfast in Notts - the potato and parsnip stack is amazing. I can’t fault them!
Pros: Lovely staff, Everything can be made vegan, Good value

Closed until 13th August 2019 😩
Heard it’s amazing.. Really gutted it was closed. Will definitely be back to try it out
So cute
I love it in here. The food is absolutely delicious, and you can get it to go so it's a great option to grab a sandwich for lunch if you're around town. The staff are all super lovely as well. The only downside is it's quite small, so you can't always get a table right away
Pros: Lots of options, Take away available
Cons: Small
A+ for service
I really liked the vibe of this place, and the staff was super sweet. I was a bit sad about missing out on breakfast, but had a sausage roll to comfort myself, so it was okay. Will be back once back in Notts.
Expensive and bland
I may have to give these another go as have heard nothing but good things and that was not my experience.
We went as a group of 3 very shortly after they re-opened after lockdown.
The menu was similar to a TAPAS menu but with a lot less choice than you would normally get. We ordered 3 things each (pretty much the whole menu) with plans on trying everything. However, when it came the portions were tiny. £6 for 4 cubes of sushi rice fried... We ended up paying just over £20 each and stopped on the way home for chips.
On top of this two of the 3 options I had (Sushi and some kind of arancini) were utterly bland, as if the spices had just been missed out completely.
Pros: Full vegan menu
Cons: Expensive, Tiny tiny portions, Bland

Open sandwiches - Edit
Whilst visiting Nottingham I called in for lunch. The café seemed really nice and friendly. The lunch offering was a choice of open sandwiches that all looked delicious and were priced at £5 each. I needed something more substantial as the sandwiches were very small indeed, so I left politely without trying the food.
