I truly love everything here! I've had the entire menu and try to visit as often as I can afford. You can't go wrong with nachos with pastor or birria tacos. Seriously though, it's all amazing! Even the burger!

Although it is clean and neat inside, still more of a takeout than dine in restaurant. Order and pick up at counter. Limited drink options. Disposable dishes. Uncomfortable seating. HOWEVER, food was fast, fresh, and tasty. I finished mine at home.

Staff: So sweet, accommodating, and friendly--as queer folks we felt so welcome and appreciated.
Restaurant: clean and spacious--large comfy booths with staff checking/tidying the dining room while we were there.
We were so impressed and delighted by this place--don't let the drab strip mall exterior fool you: this place is a hit!

The food here is good but it’s not mind blowing. I got the flauta plate and my partner got the birra. Mine came with rice and beans but his came w/ nothing. For his specifically it seems a bit pricy not come w/ rice and beans. He did enjoy the flavor though. My flavors were fine but not anything special. Just kinda mid and not remarkable and it was a bit dry. The rice and beans were fantastic. They predominantly use faux meats which is probably why the price is what it is. I wish they had options without faux meats. Finding vegan flautas is a limited option but I feel like they know that and coast on quality because of it.

We went for our first meal at lunchtime on Saturday; not much wait to order. The restaurant was clean and there was a good vibe. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. Clean restrooms. The food was incredibly delicious comfort food. Highly recommend this truly vegan Mexican restaurant!

Nissi had such great reviews that I risked almost missing my flight just to have a taste. This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had (and I had just been in Mexico City a week before and found nothing even remotely as good as this).

The rice was a bit spicy – which I didn't expect (I'm a spice wimp and couldn't finish it). The beans were phenomenal, I could eat an entire pint of them.
I can't wait to go back to Austin and eat here again!
The service was also really friendly, I got takeout and the guy behind the counter made sure to let me know he'd packed plenty of napkins and utensils, which was great because I was on my way to the airport.

Bleach smell in the kitchen area I seen lady put wet rag down just in a place that was not the bucket, by the fryer, bleach smell was strong and customer service was horrible and was not very welcoming I did not feel very happy to be served and so I end up buying a water only and walking out very unhealthy menu and I think that the only thing I liked was the color of the tables and the chairs

Top notch! Ordered the flautas, birria tacos, 2 pastor tacos, and the churro nachos.l for dessert. The flautas were my favorite. The consistency of them were great—cooked to perfection. The birria was on point too. Everything was amazing. I wish I lived closer to this place.

With 8 options on the menu, I went with the birria plate. It came out pretty quick. The tortilla was cooked perfectly, the birria soy protein was both delicious and perfectly textured like the real thing, and the cheese was beautifully melted and not lacking in quantity. The consomé was wonderfully flavored and they give you plenty for the 3 birria tacos that come with the dish.
Read moreAfter, I was still hungry and went back for their taco plate. I asked for chicharron as that's a difficult food to make a vegan, but they gave me carne asada. Not wanting to complain or even caring because the tacos still looked great, I dived in. The carne asada was just as delicious as their birria.
I love that they serve their tacos with an appropriate protion of cilantro, lime, and onion as some places never give uou enough. Their housemade salsas were delicious and had a perfect spice. Due to how small the portions were to me and their price, I can't give 5 stars; however, the food itself is so scrumptious that I'll definitely return.
