I had the paneer Tikka masala and loved it. The chai was like how my mom made it and the portions were perfect! Lovely people ❤️

Neeta, the owner, is so kind and has a great selection of products. Plenty of great options for vegans and vegetarians.
Read moreNeeta also cooks incredible food and few days a week and takes orders. On my trip I ordered her vegan dumplings and they were delicious. She offers delivery and pick up for the orders. Check out Nirvana Foods Facebook for details and message through there to place your order.

We shopped here for food for the week, they were very helpful, had a good variety of items to cook with. Helpful for locating other local restaurants and other sources of foods.

Wonderful vegan options to cook with - Edit
So thankful this was here for us to grab some quick options to cook with for a vegan breakfast or lunch at the studio we had for the week when we had little time before tours/adventures. Trip saver!

This place has so many vegan products...plant based meats ( they have the new beyond crispy chicken tenders), cheeses, ice cream, many types of Indian lentils and sauces, Thai sauces, imported vegan snacks (chips) and much more ....They even have black eyed beans .... which is almost impossible to find anywhere in Mexico...I can finally make my African dishes

Great vegan, organic & Indian selections! - Edit
I randomly found this place last night and was pleasantly surprised at their inventory of vegan, organic and meat-alternative products. The owner was very nice and helpful. They carry so many of the items/brands i use back home, which was nice to see. They also have a very impressive selection of Indian foods and spices, which was unexpected but appreciated. The only down side was most of the items were heavily overpriced compared to the US - and especially by Mexico standards. I mean, i totally get it: they're all imported items, and it's a really tiny shop that probably doesn't buy in large volume. It's just sad because they are located far from the touristy area and could probably benefit from having a local customer base in their neighborhood, but with their luxury pricing, I'm pretty sure the prices are beyond what most of the locals in the neighborhood can afford. Either way, definitely worth the trip if you're looking for items you'd normally find in Whole Foods!

Endlich ein veganer Store! - Edit
Auch, wenn es Milchalternativen in jedem größeren Supermarkt gibt und auch in vielen Cafès, ist es doch schwer, Produkte wie veganen Käse, veganes Vleisch oder auch Tofu zu bekommen... das hat der Laden alles, sogar vegane Eissorten, die nicht mit Kristallzucker gesüßt sind!

Not far from the main streets is this this first of several Nirvana Foods they plan to open. The family has lived in Cozumel for 7 years. Nick was very helpful and explained where some of the items were from which was interesting! Will be back! 🙏🏽
