Amazing food - Edit
The raviolli and ‘tagliata di seitan’ were very good. For dessert I had the tofu cake. There are so many options on the menu that it took me a while to choose. It’s not an expensive restaurant and the food is well served. About the service, I think they could have more people taking the orders, considering the size of the restaurant. But still a 5-star vegan place.

All vegan italian food - Edit
The carbonara with truffles was the star dish of our meal and for dessert we had tiramisu, which was also very nice! The menu is all vegan except for some dishes which are vegetarian but are marked as such.

I would come again - Edit
I deliberately ordered two small (waiter-chosen) meals, hi that I could experience more than just one flavour/dish.
Read moreThe first, a cabanara, was really yummy, but a little salty. The other, "meat" balls was delicious.
Topped off nicely by some warm apple pie.
The owner was super friendly and helpful, as was the Georgian waitstaff.
I would come again.
Edit:
I did go again... the following evening, with some friends. The food was sooo good. My vegan-friendly vegetarian friends were so impressed.

Some Vegan Options - Edit
Currently, the restaurant is considered to be 100% vegan. When we went there in July 2019, the waiter commented that the tiramisu was not vegan (we didn't eat it because of this). But the owner confirmed in the messages below that the restaurant is 100% vegan. A bit far from the center in Florence's hot summer. We ordered a gnocchi. It was a very small dish with a reasonably high price for the quantity, but it was super tasty. I think it was worth the experience. The waiter spoke good English and attended to us very well. We ordered a natural orange juice, but it was expensive compared to Brazilian prices. The bill included VAT of 20%. On the day, we had understood that this was the tip, but it isn't, according to the owner's comment. We didn't return to the restaurant again during our stay in Florence.

Hi! The menu is all Vegan….. the 20% is the VAT, italian name is IVA. Here if one people want give a tip he is free to do .

Thank you for your feedback. At the time, in 2019, the attendant commented that the tiramisù was not 100% vegan. How nice then that it isn't anymore! At the time, I had understood that this 20% was a tip, but now I understand that it is the VAT tax.

Must try!! - Edit
I’ve been vegan for five years and this is the best carbonara I have ever tried. I ordered the carbonara truffle and I know I’m gonna come back to Florence just to try it again! The waiters were very very nice and the prices are cheap for where you are and what you’re getting. You can’t miss it.

Great food, but that's it. - Edit
The food is great and not expensive at all. That's where the compliments end on my part.
Read moreThe service here is pretty slow and full of mistakes. We were given someone else's appetizer before we had ordered anything and were charged for it after, even though it was presented to us as a welcome bite or something like that. The toilet was unusably dirty.

Pasta dishes were delicious (specifically the gnocchi and ravioli), although they were on the heavy side. The gnocchi is spicy! Also got the vegan tiramisu which was good.

The food was outstanding. As another poster has said, our waiter was an adorable old Italian man. His English was not the best, but much better than our Italian!

This restaurant was everything a vegan could dream of! The whole menu was vegan which gave me so many options I had trouble choosing! They have appetizers, main courses, second courses, and desert. Of course also vegan wine. The food was delicious and filling. The staff is also extremely friendly. I left this restaurant feeling happy! Would definitely go again!

Huge range of very good Italian classics - Edit
Went here twice while in Florence, as the menu is huge and so much looks good.
Read moreMy favourites would be the tagliatelle with truffle (delish, very good pasta texture), spaghetti amatriciano (very nice and simple tomato based sauce), and spaghetti carbonara with veg (very good, peppery, but which actually didn't have veg, but quite chewy bacon squares).
We also had the cotoletta alla milanese of seitan, which was good and lightly battered but not much flavour.
The caprese salad was made with good tomato and rocket, but the cheese didn't add much flavour.
The soy meatballs were actually zucchini balls, quite mushy and bland, and not what I expected at all. I couldn't finish them.
The tiramisu was okayyyy, it just had way too much cream, which was also a thin texture.
The serves are big, especially for how inexpensive the prices are.
Also the menu states "all the menu is vegan, except for some small dishes marked by no vegan symbol", but the symbol didn't appear anywhere on the menu. Also in Italy, restaurants must state if foods contain certain common allergens (eg. Milk) but the menu doesn't have milk listed as a possible allergen in any of their dishes.
Pros: Delicious pasta, Very affordable, Quick service
Cons: Some descriptions aren't very accurate

Fantastico! - Edit
Great food and extensive menu. Tagliatelle, ravioli, escalope, amatriciana … anything you’re looking for it’s here. The ravioli was delicate and perfectly balanced. The amatriciana was silky with the right amount of peppery bite, and the eggplant Parmesan was *chefs kiss*. Great family run place and just a quick walk from Santa Maria Novella.
