Amazing food! - Edit
The food was delicious and vegan without any substitutions or changes. The owner waited on us and was very friendly. He taught us how to eat Ethiopian food the proper way. Large portions for the price. If you want to try a little of everything vegan get the Taste of Nile plater for 2

This place makes me so happy - Edit
We first came here five years ago and we’re so happy it survived through the covid restrictions. AMAZING food. In order to try all the different vegan options, I recommend the Taste of the Nile for two.

Everyone enjoyed dinner - Edit
A group of four of us went to dinner. One vegan eater and three omnivores. We got a warm greeting at the door. All “vegetarian” items on the menu are also vegan. I got the vegetarian appetizers sampler which I shared and I had the vegetarian sampler for dinner. My dinner was served on a separate plate to prevent cross contamination. Everyone found their food delicious. Owners were friendly and helpful.

A welcome oasis of calm with fabulous food - Edit
Quite fed up with the fast salty and soulless food of the Orlando area we were delighted to find this place. Beautiful and authentic Ethiopian food. Served with care and dare I say, love. Can’t wait to bring friends

They plated my vegan order with the meat - Edit
Stated above. The waitress also told me I should cheat and eat meat... a lot of the vegan things had meat juice all over them.

INCREDIBLE!! - Edit
My partner and I have never had Ethiopian food before and we absolutely loved it! All the vegetarian options are vegan so they have a lot of options!! We got no.30 I think it’s called ‘Nile vegetarian for two ‘and that was perfect for us and we are big eaters! I would rate 5 stars but this app won’t let me as it’s not a full veg or vegan resturaunt! But I highly recommend it 🤤🙌🏻

Some of the best ethiopian food. - Edit
My girlfriend and I spilt the Vegan Duo appetizer and choose 5 veg combo. The food was amazing! Some of the best ethiopian food I have had. We are friendly people and the staff was really friendly back. A really casual open kitchen one room restaurant without much seating. We went during a snowy night and had no problem getting a table. No frills restaurant with an excellent value for what we paid. We were stuffed for $23! The appetizer was so flavorful. The type of flavor you close your eyes and moan “ohhh wow.” I will be taking as many people back there as I can.

Good find for vegetarians in tourist area - Edit
Ethiopian food might not be what one would expect to find on Orlando's International Drive not far from Universal Studios but Nile Ethiopian Restaurant is a pleasant surprise. It's in a small strip mall right off the street and not far from a couple pretty decent Indian restaurants, as well. I usually go for a combination platter, to enjoy the variety of tastes that Ethiopian offers, and Nile's offering is pretty consistent. The injera was very fresh and light and the spiciness, particularly the misir wot, was very restrained. Some Ethiopian restaurants seem to overdo the spiciness level of misir wot but not Nile. The service was reasonably attentive.

Simply delicious food - Edit
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I can't get enough of their injera. I love the yellow split peas (kik alicha); they are not spicy at all, which is great for me. The red lentils are awesome too, and so is the cabbage. Pretty much every vegetarian entree/appetizer is vegan.
Read moreThe service can be very slow. If you're in a rush, definitely ask for your check early. And if you're not, take your time and enjoy the lovely atmosphere and delicious food.

Quaint gem - Edit
This place is pretty near the happening International & Sand Lake intersection, but tucked out of the way in a weird little plaza. Awesome, flavorful vegan dishes (I had the veggie combo), and the injera is half whole wheat half teff. They have a lunch combo that's a little different. I was there for dinner, and I think the combo is really the only way to go as a veg*n, so you get some good greens, beans and salad.

Cons: Regulars are a little noisy, if you care
