Great bagels! - Edit
We had 2 bagels from here and coffee, bagels were amazing. One bagel was plain with tofu artichoke and spinach, this was really nice and not overpowering. The other bagel was an everything with tofu scallion, the onion flavour was a bit overwhelming for breakfast. The bagels were so fresh.
Read moreI have a peanut allergy and they did serve peanut butter, they were really good and put fresh gloves on and a fresh knife. This was really good for me.
For 2 big bagels, a coffee and 2 cold drinks it was $25 dollars which is good.
Pros: More than one vegan option , Good price

THE place for a vegan NYC bagel with shmear - Edit
My favorite bagel shop in NYC, bar none. Top notch, large bagels and good coffee. They have the best vegan tofu cream cheese I've ever tasted - nearly indistinguishable from dairy cream cheese - with a decent variety of flavors available.
Read moreGluten-free bagels are available, but be advised that they're a third of the size of the regular bagels, and slightly more expensive.
Pros: Fantastic vegan cream cheese options

Huge bagels - Edit
The bagels here are enormous! They also have “mini” sized, which are the size of a normal bagel, and “flat” versions of some flavors. 4 kinds of tofu spreads: plain, veggie, scallion, and cinnamon walnut. I wish there were more options, but oh well. Plus there’s always peanut butter, almond butter, and/or jelly.
Read morePlenty of vegetables to make a sandwich out of, too. Avocado, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, onion, etc. They also have basil, which is kind of novel. Scallion tofu, tomato & basil on an everything bagel? Fuggetaboutit. They give VERY generous amounts of spread on all bagels, so I like to tell them to go easy on the tofu spread. Otherwise it’s way too much even for me, and I’m not one to skimp out on the decadent.
The smoothies are also good. The banana-peanut butter smoothie (sans honey) is rich and tasty. They also have an interesting looking smoothie with butternut squash in it. Haven’t tried the oatmeal yet, but it’s on my list.
They have almond and soy milks, and the coffee/espresso is actually quite good, one of the better options in the neighborhood.
They have tons of outdoor seating (all year round, it seems), and the inside is cute. Kind of industrial chic with a cool light fixture. The employees all wear black fedoras, which is silly. It’s obviously fine, it just sometimes makes me giggle.
Long lines on weekends, quick in and out most other times.
Pros: Many, many varieties of giant bagels, Several tofu spreads, Round food for every mood, Very decent coffee
Cons: Frequently has guys smoking outside near tables, The name is too long! NYCB&CH..., No vegan desserts/pastries
