Great desserts - Edit
A lot of vegan foods and good selection of desserts in the fridge, they did run out after a busy 4th of July weekend. But I’m glad I tried the tiramisu, granted it was a raw as well and I would have preferred a full on cake tiramisu but the coconut cream that was used was so decadent I enjoyed every bite

Cool Kids, Short on the Vegan Groceries - Edit
The vegan selection here for togo items and snacks is pretty good. We got some vegan jerky that I've never seen before and vegan tiramisu to go. We were doing a BBQ and they didn't really have much in the way of vegan meats or vegan cheeses. Pretty average natural food store selection otherwise.

Local natural foods grocery - Edit
I really loved shopping at this grocer while in Tahoe City. It had a great local friendly vibe and they stocked many vegan items from snacks and beverages, plant based milks etc., to items we needed to make home cooked meals. The produce section was solid and they do carry organic produce which is really nice.

Small and has a good selection. Easy to get to from Tahoe City. I came in and grabbed a great juice and a prepackaged, housemade, raw apple crisp.

This is a natural food grocery store with a prepared foods section that offers soups, salads, sandwiches, and drinks. Hot food is not offered after 4 pm. I got a veggie sandwich with plenty of greens lettuce and avocado, for $8.50. I liked it. For carnivores, they do offer meat items, too

wish this place was in my town...wow, the store has everything, and the deli counter is top notch, with chefs who truly seem to care about taste and quality. the vegan sushi was amazing, as was their raw brownie and homemade kombucha. friendly service.
