New vegan market in the neighborhood - Edit
I had heard about New Legacy Vegans from a local facebook group and decided to try it out. We found it and went inside. The "market" is shelves against 2 walls, with different types of sea moss and herbal teas. There was a small cooler with soups, juices, and salads. This is strictly a take-out establishment - there is no seating inside. We ordered the split pea soup, mushroom stew (maitake and oyster mushrooms stewed with chickpeas, quinoa, and callaloo) and they were all out of desserts except for the banana pudding. The split pea soup was hearty, and the stew had great flavors in the different components. The banana pudding was really tasty, albeit a little too sweet.
