Last minute healthy meal

The owner made me a delicious sobs noodle salad tonight when I turned up late after losing track of time.

It's delicious, healthy, and very welcome!

Food feels good to our bodies

We’ve been eating at New Green Pasture for years – the food consistently feels good to our bodies and is uplifting. The owner, Sophia, is super-fun and warm. The dishes she’s created are unique and highly flavorful. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of the food. Highly recommended!

Fallen in love with this place

It can be difficult to find healthy, tasty food in Singapore, even at the fortune centre where this place is located.
Don’t be put off by the premises, after all js an old and a bit run down shopping centre. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Pros: Vegan organic , Healthy, clean and tasty , Delightful friendly owner / staff

Cons: Not very nice setting / fortune centre , Can be slow at busy times

New Green Pasture Cafe (Singapore)

I ate solo here regularly. The server and manager were friendly. When I took my spouse, the server was very but the manager was very weird; stand offish to the point of being disrespectful. I've not been back since. This is a shame as organic food is good to have.

The salad dressing is pre-packaged and full of sugar I regret to say.

Pros: Some organic food available, The serving lady is nice

Cons: All vegan is always better, Manager can be weird

Creative Organic Dishes

The menu is on the expensive side, but this is understandable since the ingredients are organic and the menu is quite creative. Although the dishes are quite clean, they do not lose out in flavour! Personally like the niang dou fu, tofu roll, and Sri Lanka roll.

Vegan-licious organic bibimbap

Ordered their bibimbap, it's piping hot, the egg-yolk is made from sweet potato, all the pumpkin, yam, carrot, cabbage, green veggie, seaweed, vegan scrambled egg etc are well prepared naturally, so far the healthiest vegan bibimbap, light yet tasty, the kimchi is good too, yummy.

Recommended for those who prefers healthier options

Simple asian menu with homely-cooked food.

*They provide a free bowl of soup per person too!

Pros: Healthier vegan options

Cons: Slight high priced, Didn't feel highly valued as a patron 😅

Heavy on herbs

Quite bland in savoury side but heavy on herb taste. Didn’t liked biting into pieces of oregano stems in Sri Lankan roll, too overpowering

Slightly disappointing and overpriced.

We ordered the dumpling noodles along with the pocket salad rolls, plus two lemongrass teas and it cost us $32.80 - that's one main, one appetizer and two teas. I was disappointed in it all, to be honest, because of the high praises in the reviews and a couple who we met in the restaurant saying it was the "best vegetarian restaurant in Singapore". Definitely not the best vegetarian restaurant in Singapore. The portions were small, despite everyone in the below comments saying they were large, and for $13 per dish (the salad pocket rolls weren't even a main, they are an appetizer) I was expecting A LOT more.
We had dinner at 79a Circuit Rd last night and ordered about five times as much as we did today, and still didn't pay that much. Sorry to say, but I won't be coming back again. It's a lovely idea, selling organic produce etc in the shop, but the food was not to my liking.

Cons: Expensive, Small portions

Organic and flavourful dishes

Be prepared to wait for your dishes to be served, though it is worth the wait. Their Winter Melon Mushroom Tofu Noodles is a must to try!

Awesome healthy food

In this building of vegetarian/vegan haven, I'm never disappointed whenever I'm here. Soba salad is one of my favourites here. Even my non vegetarian friends enjoyed the food here and I am happy to know that they come here on their own too!

Healthiest vegan in Singapore

This little healthy gem is in Fortune Center, 4th floor.
If you are craving some healthy, no msg, no heavy oily, organic food with loads of greens, then this is the best place to visit in Singapore. Owner and staff are really nice. Loads of choices and large portions. All salads are super tasty. Sushis and rolls are yummy. Coral jelly for dessert is perfect, not too sweet, they use orgaic molasses to sweeten. They also have a small organic shop, if you want to buy organic local noodles. Prices of mains between $8-$12, which is great for large portions and such quality!

Pros: Loads of greens, No msg, no heavy oily food

One of several vegetarian restaurants in center

There are a surprising number of vegetarian restaurants in the Fortune Center. We tried the New Green Pasture Cafe, on the 4th floor. The offerings were depicted by posted photos on the wall. The manager was very helpful. Service was quick. We had an eclectic mix of food. Our dishes were nicely done. Seating was both in and outside the cafe. We greatly enjoyed the meal.

Sushi Rolls

I have eaten here a few times and the sushi rolls left a strong impression on me. They were so tasty and fresh! Personally I think they can use less of the sauce (presumably plum sauce but I'm not 100% sure) since the ingredients are fresh and beetroot itself is quite sweet too.

The Vietnamese rolls are similarly delicious. (basically the nori is replaced with translucent rice wrapper)

The good thing for tourists is that the owner understands the concept of vegan food.

Pros: Fresh ingredients used in the rolls, Owner understands vegan concept

Cons: Sleazy massage joints nearby

a little treasure

This is my 'go to' whenever I'm in this part of the city. A friend introduced this place to me years ago - and I pass this on to friends and visitors! I love the sushi rolls ( not rice but raw daikon for main filling) , and brown rice set. Well priced freshly made food, there's a nice little buzz about the place. Tucked away on the 4th floor, it's not as hectic as downstairs. Don't expect fine dining, it's a cafe like place - but for quality, price and interesting dishes you can't go wrong I reckon.

Unique and High Quality

Worth a visit just to meet, Sophia, the lively and colorful person who runs the place. She used to be a fashion designer. Lots of veg versions of local favourites such as Penang Laksa and Ba Kut Teh, as well as original dishes, such as charcoal noodle salad. Also, I usually buy stuff there to prepare at home. .

Pros: Tasty, healthy, original food, On L4 of Fortune Centre, SG's veg oasis, It's fun to talk to Sophia when she's not busy

tasty food

There are several vegetarian restaurants in the Fortune Center at 190 Middle Road but of the ones i ate at this one on the 4th floor served up the tastiest food. Enjoyed the Penang Laksa and the vietnam rolls. Price per dish is from about 7.50 to 12.50 Singapore dollars with the daily soup 2 dollars/ 1 dollar with a meal.

Pros: organic, taste

Perfect for vegans

We went here towards the end of our holiday and it was some of the best vegan food we had. The Sri Lankan rolls were beautifully presented and very flavoursome, whilst the Hainanese noodles were delicious and bursting with flavour. Lots of vegan options are available and all at affordable prices. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when we asked if dishes were vegan. No eggs or dairy are served here just so you know. There is also a small shop inside selling an array of healthy goods. I only we wish could have tried more dishes.

Excellent, affordable food

I wasn't ever able to get past the raw sushi roll, but my dining companions had beautifully varied dishes - all very tasty, and for well under $10 a plate. I believe herbal soup is also available for $1 a bowl. The vegetables they use are incredibly fresh. Highly recommended.

Pros: Affordable, Healthy, Friendly staff

Cons: Lacking in ambience
