Great food

Got two dishes including an aubergine dish & a garlic naan. The food didn’t have any spice (would have liked a bit) but was flavourful. Not much of an atmosphere- no music, quiet and the owner sits at a desk looking stressed #Veganuary

Okay food

Quite cheap for the prices of Indian food in Thailand, but the food itself is just not as good unfortunately. The vegan options are not marked, but the vegetarian options are and the manager is very friendly and explains the vegan options.

Reasonably Priced and Plenty of Options

We had a good experience here. Our total price came to about 170THB between two people. The Dahl was tasty though if you like it spicy, and appear western, make sure to ask for it that way. I forgot and there was almost no spice, but the flavors were still pretty solid. Overall not the best Indian food I’ve ever had, but really close to the Sunday market and our hotel.

Good Indian food

We ordered via delivery service and had 2 curries (mixed veggie and pumpkin), rice and garlic naan. We missed the garlic in the garlic naan, but anyway it was tasty. We also had a fried onion-potato dish as appetizer, they were also delicious. The curries were good, we really enjoyed the pumpkin curry it was so tasty!! Really great. The food was fresh and arrived quickly, hot and well packed at our hotel, unfortunately much plastic packaging, but that's a general issue. The price is ok and the portions are large.

Pros: Many vegan dishes, flavorful

Okay

Kind of bland. My husband is north Indian and he cooks for us a lot; we were both pretty underwhelmed. The daal soup was tasty and the tandoori roti was chewy and thick, but those were the highlights. The cucumber salad was too heavy on the chaat seasoning and the mushroom matar was mostly gloopy sauce with very few mushrooms and peas. Probably will not go back - there is way more inspired food to be had in this area for a fraction of the price.

Best Indian food in Chiang Mai

Had the chana masala, roti and a side salad. The curry was nicely spiced, roti fresh and full of flavour. A very good meal.
Vegan options are available and the staff understand veganism and can recommend on request.

The place was quite busy and it gets a lot of regulars which is always a good sign. Would come again for sure.

Pros: Staff understand vegani diet

Cons: Not full vegan

Many vegan dishes, great food

Small Indian restaurant with nice staff and good food. The atmosphere could be better - the chairs are frightening labile and the fact that you eat from steel plates gives it a bit of a cantine feeling. There are many vegetarian options on the menu which can be made vegan on request. The food is relatively cheap and really good. If you like Indian food and curries you should definetely give it a try!

worth 5 stars for sure!

amazing indian food.
I ordered the Chana masala, garlic saffron rice and onion naan and all dishes where so good. The aloo naan was even tastier than the onion naan. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves Indian food.
Prices range from 100-160 baht. Rice is an extra 40-50.

Pros: vegan options , Staff understands “vegan”

Indian that understands vegans

I'be been eating Indian weekly for most of my adult life, and yet this restaurant surprised me with a dish I never had before. I recommend you try the Baingan Bharta, simply delicious. The vegan daal and naan were great too. Highly recommended.

Pros: tasty food, my loved ones enjoyed the mild spices, lots of vegan options

Cons: on a busy road

vegetarian and vegan options

I called into New Delhi Indian Food restaurant for an early dinner ... I had the vegan potato curry with a garlic naan ฿150 ... the curry and naan were both very nice (a bit too oily for me to eat every day) ... the staff were helpful with pointing out vegan options

Pros: vegetarian and vegan options

Cons: serves meat

Happily Answer Questions About Food

The father of the restaurant owner was a strict Jain. The owner, a pleant man, Ravi, and staff understand vegan, Jain and Thai Jay food dietary restrictions well. They also speak good English.

One dish and a portion of rice or a naan is sufficient for a reasonably hungry person. If you ate two dishes, you would be happy but stuffed.

Main courses are about 120-160 Baht. Naan or Rice is about 50 Baht. The roti is just a bit too small to accompany a main course.

Dine with a friend, order different dishes and split them, to experience the

Try the tangy Aloo Chat (spicy potato) with a roti for a starter. For a main course, try Aloo Ghobi (potato and cauliflower) with Garlic Naan bread.

Pros: Several dishes can be made suitable for vegans, Tasty food about which vegans can be confident, Possibly the best Indian food in town, vegan naan

Cons: Meat is also cooked and served from the kitchen, Lacks atmosphere, though quiet inside, The dishes could be prepared to even finer cuisine
