Tyrol's first purely vegetarian mountain hut, which is characterized by the use of regional products. Has some vegan dishes both on the daily menu and at the buffet every evening. The current daily menu can be viewed on the website but vegan dishes are not specially marked. Seasonal operation from early June to mid-October.

Vegetarian mountain hut - Edit
A 100% vegetarian hut. I will limit this review to just the eating experience, which for us was vegetarian.
Read moreIf you book half pension, it will be €5 extra charge for vegans. If you are vegan, I'd recommend booking in advance and mentioning you are vegan (This is the case for all mountain huts).
We arrived in the afternoon and ordered a strudel, which was delicious.
Dinner was a little chaotic, as tables were called to collect their food, which involved a lot of shuffling and walking.
The food was delicious, however. There was a salad bar, soup for starters, and three smaller 'options' for main course. Each option was good, but it was a little odd eating them all together, as they're really different meals. The dessert was some kind of chocolate cake, also good.
Pros: Strudel, Food
Cons: Chaotic dinner

Good food but very expensive - Edit
The food was good and they have a lot of vegan options but no tofu or meat substitutes and it's quite expensive. I was charged 1€ extra for the 'vegan version' of the pasta, which means they didn't put cheese on it.
