Probably one of the best vegan options in Estes - Edit
Was in town 1 week and I’d say this is one of the best vegan options in town. Sadly there are no 100% vegan spots at all in Estes (wtf Colorado??!) but yeah this is good. Staff is all super friendly and willing to make vegan versions of many of the veg menu with no drama. We had the aloo gobi masala and it was bomb as hell. Also had some tasty samosas. I hear the Chana masala is super dank as well. Will come back if here again

Delicious - Edit
A really excellent choice! Just had to clarify that vegan meant no milk/butter, so steer clear of the bread, but the vegetable dishes can all be made vegan.

Good spot for vegans - Edit
Solid dining option for vegans. I got the Aloo Goby Masala. All the veggie curries can be made vegan if you request it. Staff is very friendly.

Not bad - Edit
Tried Nepal’s after a couple disappointing ting meals at Himalayan Curry. Some prices are a little lower but the food does not come with sides. The Nepali curry was tasty but not very filling and the rice was of a lower quality basmati. Many vegan options.

They could make naan vegan. The garlic one was delicious. We had veggie noodles, biryani, veggie samosas, and aloo Gobi. Highly recommended!! Also had vegan coconut drink.

A must visit! - Edit
We were so enchanted by this lovely little nook of a restaurant. Family owned & ran, authentic cuisine with very knowledgeable, helpful servers. They went out of their way to make sure we had a good assortment of vegan options and to cater to my sons sensitive palate. I wish we could have went back here a few more time to try everything else!

Perfect Post Hike Food! - Edit
Wow - we were so thrilled to find this spot. Lots of vegetarian options, and very accommodating about vegan options. We got chana masala, samosas, naan and vegetable momos. It was so good, and seemed reasonable priced for being surrounded by tourist traps. Definitely will be coming back.

Had the samosas and Nepal's Curry which were both great. Super friendly staff who happily understood what was vegan and were able to leave out the ghee in the curry.

Good vegan options, helpful staff - Edit
Nepals Cafe has a large number of vegetarian dishes on the menu. When I asked, the server said only the channa masala and Aloo Gobi were completely dairy free, despite not being referred to as creamy on the menu. However, he did say they could make some of the other dishes without using cream
Read moreand naan without butter upon request. This was very appreciated. We split channa masala, Nepal vegetable curry, okra with potatoes, and naan. It was all very good.
So, this place has very good vegan options, just make sure to be clear that you do not eat dairy.
Pros: Good vegan options, Helpful staff

Best Veg in Estes! - Edit
I've been going to Nepal's for years, it is my go-to place in Estes. Delicious veggie options and an awesome lunch buffet. They ALWAYS have veg options for the buffet available. Quite a few vegetarian dishes, from noodle dishes to curries and delicious naan. Some vegan options also available. The business is run by a Nepalese family and they are incredibly courteous. They recently expanded the small space into the attached building for additional seating. This place can get busy and isn't a "fast food" place. One of the very few good places to eat in Estes.

Probably the best bet in the area - Edit
Came here for dinner with my partner. Menu has a large vegetarian section but no clear indication of vegan items. Look for those without "creamy" in the description and you should be good. Avoid paneer too if you're not familiar with the Indian cuisine. If in doubt, ask the staff, who seems knowledgeable. The vegetable momos are also vegan and delicious. So is the naan, just make sure to ask for no butter. I especially liked how light and non-greasy the food was compared to its Indian counterparts. A thoroughly enjoyable meal overall.

Nepalese Curry Really Good - Edit
This place has several vegetarian curries. The waiter asked if I wanted creamy or not. When I made it clear that I was vegan, he understood. The garbanzo bean curry and Nepal curry both were delicious. Warning: non bread is buttered but I bet they will serve without.

Great find in Estes Park - Edit
My wife and I ate here last week and it was wonderful. Nice little restaurant, great service, but the food was spot on. We are vegan and finding a good vegan meal in the mountains is a challenge. Nepal's Cafe is family run by folks from Nepal, and the food shows it. We had curry vegetables with rice and garlic naan. Everything was fresh and the naan was maybe the best we have had in the states! The menu has many vegan possibilities and we will return for sure. Give them a try.

Very good Veg option in Estes Park - Edit
I have really enjoyed Nepal's Cafe the two times I've been to Estes Park. The Himalayan cuisine is really good, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, along with some meat for your carnivorous family and friends. Small place, no A/C, but along the river walk, so it's not terribly crowded. Recommended, for sure, if you're in the neighborhood.
