Great pizza! Three vegan options - Edit
They had three vegan options (shrooms, marinara and sidewalk). I have had the shrooms before and it is exceptional. Last time I tried sidewalk (atichokes, peppers, vegan nduja...) and I really liked it! Unfortunately, I didnt see any vegan dessert.

Delicious large pizzas - Edit
Not sure if the place has had a rebranding (recently) but it’s called Nell’s now. They serve massive pizzas for a very affordable price. Besides two vegan starters and one vegan dessert option, they have about three vegan pizzas on their menu.
Read moreThe pizza was DELICIOUS, crunchy, with a thin crust. You can order dips on the side (3 dips for 4 quid), of which several are also vegan (for instance the garlic sauce).
Highly recommend. Will definitely go back when in Manchester again!
Pros: Vegan pizzas , Vegan dips, Delicious and large portions!

Great beer, great pizza - Edit
The combination of pub and pizza place is right up my street. The staff are lovely, the music is great and so is the pizza. I went for the 14” mushroom pizza and it was delicious, but if you have a smaller appetite they also sell pizza by the slice.

Pizza by the slice and a happy hour - Edit
Really rate it here, they do nells pizza by the slice and have £6 cocktails 4-7pm. Have about 3 vegan options by the slice with more options if you want a full pizza.
Read moreReally like that most of the dips are vegan and there’s options with sides and desserts.
Just a great chilled out place to go, I don’t think the current rating on here does it justice, although other reviews are quite old now.
Pros: Loads of vegan options, Great happy hour, Inexpensive

Amazing for drinks, not food - Edit
It causes me physical pain to give such a low rating as Common is one of my favourite bars, which I practically used to live in when I lived in Manny!
Read moreUnfortunately, the food options are just not up to scratch for people with dietary requirements. Absolutely no options that are both VE & GF (I don’t think they offer any GF food at all…). They do have a vegan pizza that many friends have complemented, that I’ve had to very sadly watch them eat whilst I nurse a pint.
Would love to see them at least provide ONE option that’s both vegan & GF. I understand avoiding cross contamination can be difficult in small kitchens, but it is a bit lazy to not even try to offer something GF.
I would absolutely recommend Common for drinks/socialising! Wonderful environment and staff and an app that collects points when you order (for freebies)!
Pros: Great atmosphere , Delicious drinks , Wonderful staff
Cons: No GF options

Terrible Vegan Food - Edit
I ate the burger and fries, which was a dry, tasteless, pitiful experience...
Read moreIf it had come in a plastic box, it would have looked no different to a kebab shop burger and chips, and tasted no better too.
Yet, it’s peddled as a ‘gourmet Vegan burger’?! Worth £8.50 because it’s a hipster joint!
Seriously, look at the food pictures on here; save your money and eat elsewhere...
Cons: Expensive

Good option for vegans - Edit
Came for brunch with an omni friend. There’s a few vegan options but fewer than some other places in town.
Read moreThe brunch was a decent price and they were happy to swap the mushrooms for another item which was good. There was a good amount of food and it was tasty.
Would have given 4 stars if it came with scrambled tofu!

iffy service - Edit
Great decor and lots of options for vegans
Read moreFood was tasty but portions can be small, especially for the price.
Service was v slow, while staff are all friendly they are slow to respond to customers, and sometimes forget to bring food to the table to the tables.

Great Place to Meet Up and Eat Up - Edit
Went here for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised both by the venue and the vegan options. The place is really cool with different seating areas and friendly service.
Read moreI went for the Sweet potato, cashew and black bean burger and fries which was very tasty (if a little dry).
I'd go back to try their other options for sure.
Pros: Good vegan selection, Smiley service, Generally cool hang out spot
Cons: Possibly a little pricey, More sockets for phone chargers could be good
