New vegan and veg organic market in Ensenada - Edit
This place has an INCREDIBLE selection of really high quality organic vegan and vegetarian products. Kombuchas, tofu, vegan cheeses, vegan meats, many vegan dressings, sauces, spreads, oils, butters, jellys, sweets, dried fruits, some vegetables, etc. If you are planning on staying a while in Mexico and have just crossed the border and want to stock up, this is the place to do it. Most of the brands are made in Mexico, showing there is a healthy and growing domestic organic vegan product industry in Mexico. The prices are totally reasonable, even on products that come from the U.S., like the Santa Cruz brand lemonade that I love that I never expected to find out of the U.S.. They also take credit cards, have a reserved street parking space out in front and the daughter of the owner speaks great English. Totally great place!!!
