Delicious lunch - Edit
We came here for lunch and had a great meal. We sat by the window; great location for people watching. The Caesar salad was big and yummy. Generous amount of chick’n. The burger was flavoursome and juicy. The matcha lemonade was especially nice. Yummy crispy tater tots 😍

The burger was okay, though I found it a bit dry, and it was probably the most “junk food” vegan fast food I’ve ever eaten, which is not a compliment, as I prefer healthier options. Moreover, we couldn’t find what were in the burgers when we chose them. The place looked really cute though.

I don't often eat burgers and I am old enough to be the grandparent of most of the other customers, so it's fair to say I'm not the target market. Nonetheless, I and my other half felt welcome and enjoyed the experience. I quite liked my Neat Burger though it was a bit hard to eat (kept slithering out of the bun). Sides of nachos and tater tots were tasty too; the portions were generous so one side between us would have been enough. Quite a lot of packaging but I see it's mostly compostable etc. I think it's a good idea especially as it may also appeal to non-vegans (not sure if prices are comparable with mainstream burger places though).

You order your meal on the screens but the staff are around if you have any questions. They are so friendly and helpful in here! The burgers were amazing; really tasty but not too big that it felt too much. They came quickly and there are plenty of options to modify your choice. There's some seating on the first floor and a bit more downstairs where there is also a screen so you can see when your order is ready. I want to go back and try everything! Perfect for a quick meal after work.

Read moreThe nuggets, sweet potato fries and apple juice were good, but the chocolate shake and customer service were unbelievably bad. 😳 First, Collette asked if we wanted mayo or ketchup with the kid's nugget meal, but we asked if we could have mustard instead. She said there was a charge for mustard. I said even if we don't take the ketchup and mayo? She literally sent me to the kiosk to pay for mustard. So, while the food was getting cold, I went to the kiosk and attempted to purchase a mustard under the sauce category, but it wouldn't take payment, it said, "The total was too low." so I went and told Collette and she said, "Yeah, that's just how the kiosks are set up." Really? And she wasn't about to budge on giving me a mustard, even though her establishment's kiosk was set up to not take a payment for an item on their menu. Unbelievable, really. So, I literally had to go to the kiosk, order the sauce and add another item to be able to MAKE THE PURCHASE. 😳
Then my daughter couldn't even drink half of her small shake because it was so rich and had been melted when she received it. So I asked if Collette could refund the shake and she said, "I can't refund just because it's too rich." and when I told her it was a combination of it being too rich and having been melted when received and she said it was supposed to be that way. Wow.
I've eaten at vegan establishments in many places of the world, but have never had such an extreme, negative customer service experience, it was unbelievable, frankly.

But left a bit disappointed. Have had so much better vegan burgers before. I had the fish burger which I hoped very much to be like the Filet-o-fish, but it was nothing like that. The cheeseburger was kind of meh. And the nuggets had some really strange aftertaste.

Neat burger was delicious, only downside is that it did slip and slide apart so required a knife and fork to eat it. The nuggets were good and once they were dipped in the cheese sauce they were perfect. The biscoff milkshake was also very good. The restaurant was clean and had a vintage/retro vibe.

Neat Burger was my first stop in London and I went with the theatre deal. It’s clear this restaurant caters to the local audience of theatre goers.The meal came with a choice of burger, fries, and a drink.
Read moreThe interior of restaurant was modern and inviting. Ordering is done through small tablets and you can see you order progress on a screen overhead. There is plenty of seating with multiple levels, including a bar area were you can look out at the lively street.
The food was good and the portion was huge. I went with the smash burger which was juicy and flavorful. The beer was served on tap and was good. I paid around £14 for the meal which is a pricy but within line for other restaurants in this area of London.
Neat Burger is a great spot to checkout if you want good quality vegan fast food in Soho.
