pretty good food for an okay price - Edit
my chunk steak sandwich didn't change my life, but it is one of the better vegan steaks i've tried! seating was pretty limited as well but thank god it's one of the new places in the area with restrooms- worth checking out for sure!

Unfortunately this vegan establishment is about to close its NYC doors - we hate to see any restaurant, and vegan one at that, have to close. It’s sad.
Read moreBefore Neat Burger left New York, we had to try it. To be fair, we couldn’t make it into the restaurant so this is a delivery review.
We ordered the classic burger, the breakfast burrito and the creamy buffalo cauliflower. I wasn’t really impressed with the burger— it was really all bun (and cold:(). The breakfast burrito was decent— and the cauliflower was pretty good. It was all “fairly good” for a fast food type vegan joint. We didn’t get to try their loaded fries or their milkshakes which would’ve been fun. But, to be completely honest: we did have stomach aches after this.

I had salmon fish tacos that are new (limited partnership maybe?) and they were so good. Also had the cookies, yum. Everyone working here is so nice. The salmon is made with plants, called oshi. Try it!

I got this delivered on Uber Eats. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, fries, and Oreo milkshake. The sandwich was absolutely awesome, but could've used more coleslaw. The milkshake was great. However, the fries were EXTREMELY salty. Even as someone who loves salty things, they were inedible as is. I had to brush off the salt on each fry I ate.

The milkshake was too sweet, and the chili was too salty. I also was not expecting straws and utensils when I explicitly chose not to get them in my order on the touchscreens on the counter. (No humans bothered to return my greeting or direct me to place my order with them or not.) I’m unlikely to return.

I've been wanting to try Neat Burger for a long time, but it was out of the way from my office so I never got the chance to. I noticed the delivery radius increased on DoorDash, so I immediately ordered the TikTok viral Caesar Wrap. I'm glad I did! The wrap was huge and completely packed within the tortilla. There was a lot of vegan chicken, avocado, and caesar dressing. It brought all the flavors together perfectly. I wish I went to the restaurant in person and ate the wrap while it was still hot, I know it would've tasted a million times better. I think Neat Burger has a bunch of amazing vegan options and I can't wait to try something new from the menu!

Service and ambiance was 10/10. Food was a bit lacking. Tried the classic burger and made it a combo with fries & a shake. The burger was good but the bun wasn’t my fave (it’s a brioche but it was kind of dense/not soft). The fries were fries - no complaints. I got the cookie and cream shake and I felt like it was sour/tangy. That being said, I did still finish the whole thing.

This is a newish spot in SoHo that I’ve been to a couple times. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches.. the usual suspects. I like the brioche bun they use but be warned, the burgers are messy!! I had the Neat Burger & the cauliflower side w/ buffalo sauce. The prices here are good too, not crazy expensive..

Read moreThere is so much to love about this place. It is an oasis of casual cool and calm from the NYC streets. The patties are delicious. The fries and tater tots are perfect. The lemonade was refreshing. The people and service are fantastic.
While I prefer the crispy tenderness of the chick’n patty, do not miss out on the neat burger patty which definitely stands out with its blend of mung beans, quinoa, and chickpeas and came with a slightly red middle to mimic a medium cook. My one comment would be that the sandwiches were over-sauced, drowning all that patty-goodness flavor. Couldn’t help but wonder if they adjusted their ratios for US palettes.
Still worth a visit. Must try the BBQ stack, chopped cheez, and Chicago hot dog on a future visit. You can make an order a combo by adding a side and a drink.

The burger patty itself was decent, a vegan version of a McDonald’s patty, but the caramelized onions and sauce, butter lettuce, tomato, and brioche bun were what made it. Tots crispy and not greasy. Unsweetened iced tea was a nice way too keep the meal from feeling too heavy.

The all-vegan comfort food at Neat Burger is quite comforting. Of the vegan fast-food burger places in NYC, I prefer Jerrel's, Vegan and the Fly, and Marty's-V Burger, but this place is pretty good for a quick, inexpensive (if not all that healthy) meal.

Read moreThe wings were just okay, they were just fried breaded cauliflower. It was plain there was no seasonings or spices. When picking up they offered me a choice of up to two sauces. I got the spicy Mayo which was good (but not quite as fantastic as Beatnic’s spicy Mayo). Would probably try different sauces sides next time.

The food was good, but the atmosphere was not. Music so loud you can not have a conversation. I’m assuming it’s loud so you don’t want to stay.
Read moreThe entire dining area was full, people standing around waiting for seats. Meanwhile, a huge outdoor patio area was completely empty and closed off (door was unlocked, but the employees screamed that the area was closed, over the blaring music, anytime someone touched the door knob).
I’ll pass next time. Not worth the hostile atmosphere.
