Veel meer vegan opties dan verwacht, heel erg vriendelijk personeel, en zelfs de mayo was volgens de bediening standaard vegan. De vegan burger die op dit moment geserveerd wordt, een heerlijk knapperige gefrituurde knolselderijburger, was een van de lekkerste vegan gerechten die ik ooit in een niet-vegan restaurant heb gegeten. Misschien zelfs wel de allerlekkerste. Mijn verwachtingen zijn overtroffen!

Considering this is a village, they have quite some options. We tried a nice burger and a sandwich with kroketten, which were nice. Also the Hawaiian smoothie was nice (all smoothies are vegan).

Really enjoyed my dinner here. The flatbread with vegetables and vegan mozzarella was absolutely amazing! This is the first time I tried a Dutch weed burger and I enjoyed it a lot - but what stood out most to me were the fries, which were really good. They even offered vegan mayonnaise. The choices are decent and the employees seem to know about veganism very well. They also allow dogs in the restaurant, if properly leashed.

It was a little crowded and the car park was very small, but overall I enjoyed the experience!

Vegan Nochicken awesome vegan dish! - Edit
In my search for vegan food in Egmond, I ended up at Restaurant Natuurlijk which is offering vegan food. Two options (March 2021) are the Dutch Weedburger and the Vegan Nochicken. I chose the Vegan Nochicken and this dish was awesome. Next time I'm in the Egmond area, I am certainly going to try the Dutch Weedburger (if it's still offered).

Okay food but great kroketten - Edit
My partner and I had a nice dinner here: we tried the samosas, the jackfruit rendang with coconut rice and the Dutch Weed burger. All three dishes were nice but not amazingly so: the flavors were a bit too basic in relation to the prices for our tastes (that is to say: tasted a bit too much like the things we cook at home). We also had the vegan 'kroketten' on another day, which we enjoyed very much as they were served with bread and mustard and therefore provided us with the prefect vegan alternative for the way kroketten are traditionally served.

Had a lovely dinner here. I made a reservation at 6:30PM, there were a lot of kids but I think most of them left around 7PM so it instantly became more quiet and comfortable to eat.

Hartstikke goed gegeten, ik eet het liefst vegetarisch, maar met lactose allergie, dus een uitkomst dat ze ook vegan opties hadden, en echt lekker eten! Ik had een zeewierburger, die was top! Ook als je gewoon lekker wilt eten, ze hebben heerlijke gerechten met vis en vlees!

Relaxing in the dunes - Edit
Big terrace where you can chill and eat. We ordered bread with hummus as a starter and as a main the Dutch weed burger. It wasn't on the menu but we saw on the chalkboard that there were 2 raw vegan cakes, so of course we ordered them both. The carrot cake and brownie were both equally delicious. Staff is friendly and inside is a very cosy atsmosphere.
