Delicious vegan food - Edit
We really enjoyed our lunch here. So much, that we will return again before we leave. I ordered the lunch set A - pad gaprao; my husband ordered the lunch set B - curry. Both were outstanding! Set A came with a green salad, vegetable pottage, soy gaprao, nut and vegetable sushi rolls, rosehip tea, and a delightful blueberry smoothie. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Japanese and English menus available.

Cozy and yummy food - Edit
You can really feel the love in the food they make here. In such a meat and dairy heavy city we were super stoked to find this place so close to our hotel. The food was delicious so we even went back for lunch the next day for the set lunch menu which was amazing priced.

Nutritious and Delicious! 🌿 - Edit
I stumbled across Lohas when walking along the Sapporo Shopping Arcade and I'm so pleased I did. Lohas offers a handful of set meals, which included dishes for vegans and veggies. The meal was so tasty and healthy, would recommend!

Nice and filling - Edit
Everything was clearly labeled. We got the soba noodles (also gluten free) and the curry. I think the noodles were a bit more filling, also be aware that it's basically just cold noodles with soy sauce and a salad and rice, still tasty though, but next time I would take the curry or the other dish.

Not fully vegan as marked on Happy Cow - Edit
I was a little skeptical going into this restaurant because I had read some reviews saying that some of the dishes were not vegan, but this restaurant is marked as an all vegan restaurant on Happy Cow.
Read moreIt turns out, my hunch was right and the shop is not 100% vegan, although it is close. This is an important distinction to make because if you go in thinking everything is vegan, you might let your guard down and order something not realizing that it isn't vegan.
My husband ordered the curry and I ordered the gapao rice. Since I was skeptical, I asked upon ordering, "is everything vegan?" and she said "no, but it can be changed to be vegan." Apparently, some of the items including the ones we were ordering usually contain seafood ingredients. We had her make it vegan - it was a good thing I asked!
The taste was good, but it wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the nut sushi the best. The hamburg in my husband's curry was very soft and didn't have much texture or bite to it.
It was kind of crowded and all of the customers were foreigners, excluding my husband. The owner was doing everything on her own, so we had to wait a bit. I would advise to avoid the lunch rush (12-1pm) if you can.
Pros: food was alright
Cons: not everything is vegan, don't let down your guard

I've had 3 meals here in 3 days! - Edit
I'm really glad that my hotel is close to the cafe so I can keep dropping by. So far I've ordered one lunch set, another lunch set takeaway for a road trip and a dinner. The staff is very friendly and the food is beautifully presented. The menu is fully vegan (except for one very clearly marked dashi sauce which has bonito flakes) and mostly based on raw, whole foods. The cafe is very cosy.

It's a cosy place in the center of Sapporo. They have an English menu and as one of the previous comments stated, all dishes are vegetarian/vegan now - in one case they use fish broth, which can be exchanged.

Sweet, Precise Food - Edit
Such a wonderful cafe on Minami3Jonishi walking street. Everything is well flavored. A standout is the salad, which has such a beautiful assortment of vegetables, the freshest greens, a savory dressing, and the option for a protein! Get a tea, get the soba noodles if you can, order a hand roll, and watch the snow fall! Didn’t try the desserts, but they look fabulous!

Great, central raw food - Edit
Lohas was easy to locate at the end of Tanuki Koji, and is a small cafe with both English and Japanese menus. They serve raw food - Japanese cuisine with a Western spin. Portion sizes are small but it's refreshing to have delicious Japanese style vegetables and a tasty treat - worth the price.
