So many good choices, and there's something for everyone so it's also good for a group. If you can't decide on what to order I recommend The Real Nashville Hot. So frickin good.

Well, Native Foods is a real treat. The “Double Cheeseburger” and “Lemon Dill Potato Salad” I had tonight were just out -of-this-world tasty! I felt almost like a kid again as I devoured these two dishes, enjoying every single morsel from start to finish.
I can’t think of a more satisfying meal to end my last night here! Bravo! (& and thousand kisses!) to this pioneering business (since 1994!!). 🥰

My go-to in Point Loma - Edit
My 4th or 5th time coming here. I really enjoy their food over PPFF. Had the beercheese burger today. Never ordered the same thing twice, liked it all. Too bad it’s 600 miles from home, but I do make a point to get at least one meal here, sometimes more, when I’m in the area, staying at hotels where kitchens and vegan options are nil.

Made it back to Point Loma for another trip. The grilled teriyaki sandwich was good. The wife said the bbq brisket burger was the juiciest brisket she’s ever had, lol, the irony.

Really delicious food, super helpful and friendly service, fun drink selection. I got the BBQ Brisket burger which smelled so good and was absolutely scrumptious. My partner ordered the Special, a Beercheese burger. He said it was the best he’d ever tasted, anywhere. Fries were crispy and perfect (we got seasoned and sweet potato).

An Iconic Vegan Place - Edit
Native Foods has been around for a long time in So Cal. It's likely the longest lasting chain of vegan restaurants. So, they must be doing something right! I love food , so I've enjoyed everything I've tried over the years. Appies are all amazing! The entrees and salads are always fresh and full of flavor! And the desserts are to live for!! Oh, and even their iced tea is refreshing and clean. Yummy!

We ordered a burger, salad, lavender lemonade, and beignets. Everything was good, and the food came out fast. My salad came with a cheese I did not like, but the veggies were fresh, and the dressing was good. The beignets were not as fluffy as I remember, but all fried dough tastes good. Large selection, friendly staff, and quick service… I cannot complain.

Brisket burger for the win - Edit
Will dream about it when I go back home. That’s how good it is. Potato dill salad side on point. Other people in my party want to go back and order this burger even though the other food was also good. If you are around and in the mood, highly recommend.

I am a big fan of Native Foods but my last visit was a little disappointing. The cauliflower in the Orange Cauliflower was a little undercooked and the Glazed and Confused bun was much more sweet than hot - it was not too well balanced. The updated decor looks good but I did prefer the older style. I’ll be back!

Okay, it’s probably not the healthiest place in the world but sometimes even us granola vegans want some fast food! I had their blackened tempeh tacos and they were good, plus who doesn’t love vegan mac and cheese??? Took the omnivore family here and even the kids found something they liked.

Especially love the tomato bisque soup! But they have delicious burgers (Poppin Jalapeno Burger is my favorite), and right now they have a Barria Quesadilla! They do have a seasonal menu that changes...so keep coming back to see the new flavors!! They also have a points app, download/register so you can get $10 off coupons!

We have been to Native Foods many time, and usually we get a hand-held entree. This time we decided to get an actual entree; the fact that it was a BOGO special did not hurt. I got the Almost Famous Bowl and my wife got the Orange Cauliflower. I was blown away by how good the AFB was. In fact, I may get this from now on rather than a hand-held. My wife really liked the OC; me, not as much.
Read moreAlmost always, we get the Oatmeal Creme Pie for dessert, and while we did get one to go for later consumption, we decided to try the seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake Parfait; it was delicious. We almost regret having gotten an OCP, despite how much we love this dessert, and wish we had gotten another PCP to go.
Their seasonal menu is a hit!

Friendly staff and great menu. Feel harsh giving 3 star but have to say my spicy burger wasn't spicy at all / very flavoursome and my fries were quite cold. Worth noting that the fries seasoning was really good and my wife absolutely loved her food and would give it 5 stars.

accept for the asparagus entree which was oily, soggy, chewy. The chef needs to get better quality asparagus and/or figure this out because nobody would like what i ate today. I have had many asparagus dishes and this was the worst in my whole life. However, The Tuna melt was delicious and many other items look superb too. Excellent vegan place. The staff do not seem to be vegan though.
