Good Vegan Fast Food - Edit
I've been eating here for at least a year and I've been happy with my food until they took both of my favorite items off the menu! I was obviously devastated but kept coming back for a while where I didn't really love anything, but then I found the cauliflower poboy which is amazing! It's worth a visit but I hope those come back.

Only been here once - Edit
But the food was very basic and didn’t seem to have much flavor. Would like to come back and try again but haven’t been motivated to based on our last experience. The nacho cheese was a little sweet for my taste

Good food in general. - Edit
Good food, but they have stayed basically the same for 10 years or longer. 10 years ago it was a great option and now with all the new restaurants and options they just feel old and honestly mediocre, how ever they are still a decent option but far away from the best.

Most dishes are very flavorful and decadent. The taco salad is great when you want a little more WFPB.

Good food, not many gluten free options - Edit
I have ate through most of this menu and like basically everything. The food is awesome, but I cannot give it a perfect review because of the lack of GF options. They have maybe 5 gluten free options on the menu and considering that it is one of the only vegan restaurants in Boulder that is not a lot.

Love this place - Edit
My fiancé is addicted to the Bistro Steak Sandwich and I absolutely love the Chicken wrap and California burrito. The oatmeal cream cookie is worth it and the lavender lemonade is delicious.

I would give six stars! - Edit
Amazing! I’m on a road trip and this little gem in Boulder has been the best place I’ve eaten since leaving. Had the Soul Bowl, it was really fun, tasty and very filling. My partner had a meatball sandwich and the meatballs might have been one of the best “fake meat” I’ve had.

Staff stole my son’s coat - Edit
Meh. Food is pretty bad.
Read moreI have trouble with anyone who is not accountable for their actions. My son left his coat here, yes it was a couple of winters ago. Called- they have my coat! Stopped in- it’s missing!
Given the coat was in the back I am assuming native foods defending their stealing employee.
I will never eat here again and will tell everyone I know what happened.
And the food is not good.

Vegan Fast Food but SUPER yummy! - Edit
We bring our non-vegans friends here and they love it! Plus it’s perfect if you want a quick meal that’s vegan but has that comfort food taste

Perfect spot for plant based healthy or junk food. Nashville hot sandwich and jalapeño burger are great. Get the oatmeal cream pie. Also, perfect for non vegans or vegan curios. Everything is good.

Great Vegan Spot - Edit
We love this vegan spot. Yes it's junk food vegan (still healthier than if it were animal products). People choose to be vegan for more reasons than just health.

We first stumbled upon Native foods in Oregon after being vegan for 5yrs and we always look for one near where we travel. It's nice to feel like you can eat at a real restaurant. Many of their items are large enough to split. We also enjoy their beverage selection as opposed to regular soda pop.
Don't forget to sign up for their rewards. We got $5 off for downloading their rewards app.
I do not like that they use non compostable straws. They can do better. A&W in Canada uses compostable paper straws and we've seen several places with other compostable straw options such as avocado straws. Hopefully they implement using compostable straws.
Pros: Entirely Vegan , Feels like a normal restaurant, Meals large enough to share
Cons: A bit expensive , Non compostable straws

Very good - Edit
I had the Reuben with a side salad, he had the California Burrito with fries. We shared the Buffalo “chicken” wings. We enjoyed all of it very much. I enjoyed my salad mostly because of the dressing because they use limp, dry, bag salad greens. I’m so accustomed to eating fresh, wet, organic heads of lettuce that the bag stuff tastes substandard to me. The dressing, which I think was Caesar, was very good.

Favorite Boulder Spot - Edit
Absolutely love stopping here when I am in the area. Everything is absolutely delicious!! Tons of options for drinks, food, and dessert. They also offer a large variety of different types of food from burgers to salads to Thai food. I was blown away with how good the first time I had it was, but they have made some menu changes with options that aren’t quite as good but still yummy. I had the chicken burger they were offering at the time, nachos, and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese wasn’t super great, but still decent. The nachos had a nice sweet sauce and lots of yummy fresh veg! I always love grabbing a burger and enjoy the different combos.

Decent! - Edit
Native Foods has come a long way. I remember when everything you ordered came in takeout containers. This is the third Native Foods I have eaten at in three different cities. This is the best of the three I’ve been to (also DC and LA). It’s kinda like Veggie Grill, but not quite as good. I had the Brussels sprouts and banh mi salad. The salad had way too much dressing, but had a good kick! The staff is very friendly.

Fairly tasty vegan (junk) food - Edit
This place....I like the concept and normalizing vegan food but there are a few major issues-- their food is not organic. They rely on a lot of heavily processed soy for most of their meals. For example, you can get any manner of fake meat, but beans and lentils are vastly underused and not an option to add usually. it's vegan- how about some healthy natural proteins?! If you are a gluten-free vegan (which so many are for health/medical reasons), you will find options very very limited...basically to salad. , Everything is covered in these goopy mystery sauces which are not at all natural- made with some kind of yucky vegetable oils and sugars and not so natural things. So although they might be vegan they are far from healthy. Lastly, unless you get something covered in said mystery sauces, you will find they are majorly lacking in flavor. If you are avoiding processed or added sugars, forget it! It seems spices and seasonings and fresh herbs are really not utilized here at all. For all these reasons even though they are in my hometown, I hardly eat there.

Best vegan nachos - Edit
This is my go-to place for lunch. I am certainly a regular and my favorites are the nachos and taco salad. I used to also love the avocado crunch wrap, but it was discontinued. The sandwiches And wraps are incredibly messy, so get a ton of napkins before digging in. Also love the oatmeal cream pie. 👍🏻 It is great to be able to go to a restaurant and order anything on the menu. The only down side is that it is pricey.
