Pleasantly surprised by vegan options

Wasn’t expecting that much, since it’s a cafe that is quite remote. But they had a variety of cakes, plant based milk options and at least 2 vegan lunch options. One was soup with bread, the other some vegan vegetable stew. I didn’t try any of the meals because I was still full from the vegan brownie. The cake portions are quite big! The lunch was only served until 2:30.

Pros: Big portions , Friendly staff , Great garden

Cons: Small time window for meals

Several vegan options

Several options which is good and food is ok. Ordered kids sausages and beans, portions are generous but they brought us meat ones accidentally. Luckily we noticed. The vegan sausages are a bit rubbish and we’re over cooked and hard. Chips are nice though. Lasagne was lovely tasting but unfortunately cold. It was super busy though so that might be why. Lovely location.

Pros: Nice lasagne and chips, Lovely setting , Generous portions

Cons: Sausages were over cooked , Accidentally gave us meat sausages

Lovely choices

Always some good vegan options at the Botanical gardens, sandwiches, soup, cawl in winter time. Plus plant based milks. Beautiful place to visit
