Too spicy - Edit
I usually don’t mind spicy food but this was too much for all of us. Couldn’t even finish it. It might haven’t been intentional but still...
Read moreThe waiter probably couldn’t speak english and I’m not sure if he understood our requirements- no egg no milk.
Pros: cheap, menu marked vegetarian
Cons: spicy, unhelpful staff

Good, Fast & cheap - Edit
I went to this place several times. It doesn't look so pretty but they have good food.
Read moreYou can choose between buffet with some vegan dishes like tempeh, rice and vegetables etc. or Indian food like Naan bread etc.
First I tried buffet but the other times I always ordered the Indian food.
They have garlic naan and you get It with some curry. Just say that you want the naan without butter.
The food is so cheap the naan is about 4 ringit.
It's really fast as well and it's open all the time.
When you don't mind that the restaurant is not fancy and you want your food fast - this is a good place:)
Pros: Extremely Cheap , Good
Cons: Not the nicest restaurant

Just ok - Edit
They have a vegetarian menu, but were out of half of the items at 8:30pm. For a place that is supposedly open 24hrs, it was a little annoying. The food we did get was decent.

Nothing special - Edit
The food is cheap and cheerful. If you are struggling for veggie food on Langkawi this is a good spot. Some of my food was a bit cold or not cooked properly. The rotis and naans were great though. The buffet is almost totally full of meat.

I love this place - Edit
I really love this place. During our staying in Langkawi Pentai Cennag we ate there minimum once a day (sometimes twice:)) Veg options are delicious and the best one is MASALA DOSA I also recommend kaja roti. Nice staff very friendly and always smiling.

Go somewhere else - Edit
I passed by and was literally starving, which is why I gave this place a try. First of all, I don’t see a lot of vegetarian options here. The ‘vegetarian curry’ has strong fish taste and there are maybe 2 vegetarian items at the buffet.
Read moreStaff is very rude too and shouted at my girlfriend.
There are dozens of good vegetarian-friendly restaurants at the beach. Better eat there
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Unfriendly staff, Few vegetarian options, Bad food

Buffet! - Edit
This place is fine. It was close to my accommodation so I passed this place for lunch anytime I went to the beach. The buffet gives you various options to choose from so if you prefer to taste a bit from everything, this place a good option. Moreover, it's pretty cheap.

Good place with variety of veggies - Edit
It's a restaurant with some veggies and vegan options, the best thing is the buffet you have a little bit more options than the menu such fried tempeh, tofu, rice and salads. Moreover, they have some indian veggies dishes. The prices are very cheap that's very nice

very good fallback - Edit
during the day they have buffet with some rice dishes, I preferred their butter rice, then tomato, then the biryani. A la cart also had a nice potato like curry. Their garlic naan was nothing to write home about though; way to flat and uninteresting. I believe they're open 24 hours, so it's really quit a convenient place. 4 stars is a good rating.

self service buffet! - Edit
We are from the buffet probably 10 times during our 2 week stay. Vegan options kept changing a bit on different days, but usually included fried tempeh and tofu, sometimes in tomato sauce, 2-3 different rices, spicy potatoes and vegetables. Take what you want and a staff member will come to your table and write down a receipt, which you then use to pay when finished. Price varied quite randomly from 6-9.50 RM (loosely based on portion size, number of foods chosen and I think also who of the staff happened to check and write the receipt).

The most famous Mamak eatery in Cenang Beach - Edit
This place is equally known by locals and travellers.
Read moreIts offering budget Indian, Malay, Mamak food, Tandoori Corner, Fried rice and noodles, Roti Canai, Tosei (dosa) and drinks. No alcohol.
I personally recommend Garlic Naan(say "no carry, only dhal", dhal is vegan) and Tempeh fried with chilli. Also fried potato is nice.
Due to very limited options in other restaurants around here, Tomato is the place where you wanna go when you hungry. Really.
Pros: vegan food available, budget, free drinking water
Cons: They do serve meat and etc animal products, if you

Great Masala Dosa - Edit
This is a typical Nasi Kandar / Mamak restaurant with dishes from south India and Malaysia.
Read moreThis one sports a better than average selection of vegetarian food with special section in the menu, and clearly labeled self service section.
Pros: Better than average selection. , Have Tosai and uthapam items. , Open around the clock
Cons: Could be even more veg options.
