Lots of fresh-from-the-farm California produce - Edit
A great way to support local farmers and feed your family!
There's a huge variety of fresh, seasonal (of course!) Cali produce at this ever improving Farmer's Market just south of downtown Napa.
Many of the vendors sell organic, but not all. Look for their certification signage if that's important to you.
There's a surprisingly large number of meat and dairy vendors as well as non-food vendors. But they're mainly clustered on the outside of each aisle, so easy to avoid if you wish.
Don't miss the food trucks (vegan jackfruit tacos!) right on site or just to the east. There's a vegan friendly Thai place and other restaurants sharing the same parking lot. And even a movie theater if you want to make a day of it!
Open from Spring through Fall on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Plenty of parking.
UPDATE: They just announced (9/2018) that they'll be open Saturdays throughout winter. Thanksgiving week will be the last Tuesday for the season.
The Napa Farmer’s Market is Certified California Grown which allows us to support our local farmers & economy. It is open every Tuesday & Saturday from April to November. And each week they feature a local non-profit group. The number of vegan-friendly vendors has exploded over the last couple of years. Local produce is available grown conventionally and organic. Sweet treats include limited options from Monday Bakery (zucchini bread & raspberry brownies are amazing), Sweet Linda Lou‘s (delish mini pies), FlourChylde Bakery (bread only), Mayacamas Chocolates (try the vegan milk chocolate), Sweet Peabody sorbet (100% vegan!), most Handsome Carver nut butters are vegan, Sweetie Pies sometimes has their vegan berry muffins available. My favorite vendor is Way To Life Foods. They are always vegan & make the most amazing homemade granolas, chocolate chip cookies & cinnamon rolls! Ohm Coffee offers several non-dairy milks if you are in the mood for a latte. Napa Valley Tea Company has unique & delicious teas. And they will let you taste them all! Savory options include Addictive Toast (avocado toast without the cheese on vegan FlourChylde bread), Atlas Peak Olive Oil, Contimo Provisions often offers a tasty vegan sandwich made with carrots, JuJu‘s Mediterranean, Platanito Pupusas will gladly veganize, Sukhis Indian food has many options, The Hummus Guy (100% vegan) and Toasted bagels are vegan too! It is an overpriced experience but if you like Farmer‘s markets, you‘ll enjoy all the vegan food!
