Vegan options include deep fried artichoke, garlic chicory, tomato salad and baked potatoes. One pasta dish and one starter (artichoke) which are vegan - they could offer more vegan options. The pasta was okay.

No vegan food in the Menu - Edit
Asked the waiter for vegan food. He told me i could have an other Type of Pasta. Otherwise a salad. The salad on the Menu was 'beef, fish, fish and Mozzarella'. I got a good Pasta, but would Not Go there as vegan again.

the artichoke was really nice, and the vegan pasta was really good too. the waiter wasn’t super knowledgeable about veganism, we had to explain the situation thoroughly, but in the end it was very tasty and the atmosphere was very enjoyable

Good prices. Vegan options. Worth the walk to get here. It's very busy so there is a waiting list and you are asked to wait in the shade. Staff speak English and can advise about adapting dishes for vegans. Good prices. Family restaurant but if bringing small children - reserve a table or get here early

Not very understanding waiter - Edit
First there was quite a long wait time. When we asked whether we could have the pasta without cheese our waiter was very sceptical and asked whether we had any intolerances (it felt as if he wouldn’t take our request seriously if we weren’t at least lactose intolerant..). We didn’t dare to ask for the vegan pasta because he made us so uncomfortable. And in the end only my friend got her pasta without cheese on top, mine unfortunately came with cheese. And the waiter was trying to be funny about it which I really did not appreciate. The pasta was delicious though.

Limited vegan option. Staff supports your requests and clarifies items with chef if the need be. Pasta with eggplant, capers and olives was delicious and eggplant melts in your mouth.

Pretty fab food and atmosphere - Edit
Our waiter Daniele (although I was sceptical at first) uttered “I got you” when I said I was vegan. He recommended the pasta nannarello, replacing their homemade roman pasta with vegan rigatoni. It was delicious. The starters of focaccia and artichoke were amazing. Altogether we had a fabulous night, felt taken care of and would come back 100%.

Nessuna opzione vegana - Edit
Nessuna opzione vegana che non sia la pizza senza formaggio o le verdure grigliate o le patate fritte. Forse qualche altra preparazione, ma altissimo rischio che contenga uova o formaggio e cmq personale che non è in alcun modo interessato a soddisfare la clientela vegana.

Great vegan pasta - Edit
Even though there is only one vegan dish on the menu as a starter - the deep fried artichoke (traditional roman dish), the staff is knowledgable about veganism and were able to modify a vegetarian dish by switching the type of pasta. We got rigatone with tomato sauce, eggplant, olives and capers and it was delicious. Maybe a little bit too al dente for me but I wouldn't argue with italian about this😄so it required some proper chewing so took some time to finish but the taste didn't lack a thing. Great place to eat with your non-veg friends as we all enjoyed our food.
