Sorry but it’s a no😄 - Edit
I asked if they have fresh juices and was told that yes they have it and can make it without sugar and water. And k received a smoothie in the end. Because the kitchen is open you can see partly how they cook si I saw that the girl added tap water and some sort of white powder inside. And I asked what was it and got some sort of weird answer that there’s no sugar. But I was asking what was the powder for because I’m allergic. The girl just walked away. And believe me my Spanish is quite good. I didn’t want to drink it anyways so the cup just broke in my bag because the plastic is very thin. I wish this place a better communication and transparency

More Sauce? - Edit
It was a nice lunch. We had one pita falafel (which requires more sauce to be honest) and a falafel plate.

Wholesome and delicious - Edit
We ordered a salad, some juices and the hummus. Portions were generous and everything extremely fresh. My partner is from Israel and was especially impressed by the hummus and tahini. As a past raw foodist, I was impressed by the gusto of the salad. The juices can’t be customized but all were delicious. The restaurant is indoor-outdoor so safe(r) and comfortable as far as eating out during a pandemic goes. Would definitely come back again when I travel through CR.

Good food - Edit
The food was very delicious. Service was okay, they didn't speak English at all. The vegan food was not labeled but you could tell that it is vegan from the ingredients.

Great to Go - Edit
Friendly staff know their vegan food. The storefront and seating is nice and open onto the street. I got the felafel plate to go and it was probably an average serving for the price of €4.800. I was told prior to going that the servings could be shared or saved for next day but I finished it quickly. Needless to say it was pretty good! The flavors could have popped more, but generally I liked the place. I’d shop around before going back.

Healthy and delicious salad - Edit
Great location near entrance of the stadium. Small place with open terrace. Menu is small, vegan and vegetarian friendly. Great size portion for the salads. Fresh ingredients. Many options for healthy drinks too.

Light and Tasty - Edit
They had good portions, and I really feel like the chef knows what he is doing. He places all the vegan options at the top of the menu, which shows he cares in my opinion. Friendly service. If it was priced a little lower, it would be perfect, yet it is fairly priced.

Affordable & delicious! - Edit
I highly recommend this restaurant. We ate at Nana's three times during our short stay in San Jose.
Read moreThe owner, Marco, speaks fluent English and is passionate about making vegan food. Just let Marco know that you're looking for vegan options and he'll make recommendations (on and off the menu). My personal recommendation is the Falafel Plate & Tapas.
The smoothies are all vegan, made fresh on the premises, and served in glass bottles. I ordered the berry smoothie and it was delicious.
The restaurant is cute, comfortable, and clean. I'll definitely come back the next time I visit San Jose.

Nice humous but not that much vegan - Edit
Can you actually remove "juice bar" from their description because they don't make fresh juice only sell some bottled juice. Their vegan humous tasted great, but it's not necessarily a place I would list here since they sell egg, chicken, etc. Choice of smoothies also small.
Read morePros: Nice design, Clean toilets
Cons: location a bit off everything, not worth to drive , vegan choice not that much

Thank you for the feedback. all the bottled juices that we have are juice we make freshly everyday at Nana. No sugar added. the place is vegan friendly but not vegan (yet) that is true. My vision, as vegetarian, is that the place would be vegan one day, but still not popular around here in Costa Rica :)
