Vegan cheese pizza = 5* - Edit
U can tell as soon as u enter that it’s a great place. Menu is all vegan, nice interior with white walls and natural light. Shades of plant in itaewon.
Read moreHawaiian pizza(15,000) was good - nice cheese and faux meat. As far as I know it’s the only spot in Seoul with vegan cheese pizza.
Pros: All vegan inc cheese and meat, Peaceful interior

Scrumptious vegan food - Edit
We LOVED this plant based café.
Read moreWe had ‘calzone’ and it was yummy and flavorsome.
We will definitely come back to try their chickpeas curry (sold out tonite) and, why not, their pizza.
The ambience is cozy and the staff is very nice.
Portions are just right, so one course per person will be enough.
Make sure you don’t miss it - even omnivores will love it!
Pros: All vegan, Delicious and flavorful food
Cons: A bit far from main areas - but worth a detour

My favorite vegan restaurant in Seoul, South Korea - Edit
Restaurant Name: Nammi Plant Lab

Concept: A vegan, fusion restaurant in Seoul, South Korea; they opened in 2018. Personally, the best vegan restaurant/bakery I went to in Seoul.
Atmosphere: The welcoming restaurant seats more customers than any other vegan restaurant I’ve been to in Seoul. They have a variety of table sizes as well. They have a mini-community library where customers can borrow books for free. They have a bathroom available as well.
Food: They offer a wide range of dishes including pasta, calzones, curry, salads, etc... They also have a bakery full of delicious desserts and pastries. Their portions are big, and the dishes are very filling. They also have craft beer, wine, coffee, and tea.
Service: The service is the best I've had during my time in Korea. I shared a few conversations with the workers there; they are very helpful when deciding between options. They always ask for feedback as well. One of the workers shared how the restaurant was more about the customers and the vegan message than it was for them. They can speak English, Spanish, and Korean.
Favorite Meal: The rose cream fettuccine was unreal. I also really enjoyed their chickpea curry. I took my family there (they are not vegan/vegetarian), but they really loved the dishes and said they were going back.
Advice: I recommend paying extra for the "set" option. Their fries and Jeju orange juice are incredible.
Price Range: Considering their portion sizes and the quality of their ingredients, I would say their prices are reasonable. I would check out their menu online as their prices vary. I typically paid ₩32,000 for two.

Pros: Quality, Fresh Ingredients, Excellent Service, Plenty of Options & Space
Cons: Too good so you always want to return

One of the best vegan pizzas I've tasted - Edit
I had the steak margherita pizza and it was one of the best vegan pizzas I've ever had. The crust was thin and crispy and the tomatosauce was flavorful. I really liked that the pizza had different textures and flavours and that it had both cheese and two sauces on it. I haven't yet tried anything else but from what I saw while I was there other dishes that guests were eating looked really good as well. I really recommend coming to this place since this is definitely amongst the top 3 best vegan restaurants in Seoul in my experience.

Good creative food - Edit
Nammi Plant Lab did live up to the hype! I especially loved the Faina (appetizer made with chickpea flour) and the mushroom crepe. I didn’t like the steak-Hawaiian pizza so much but alio e olio was also good! I was way too full to enjoy the desserts but my friends absolutely loved it.
Read more남미플랜트랩!
Pros: Tasty, Friendly owner, Unique menu
Cons: Not cheap (12-17,000) but also not too bad, I liked some menu more than the other, Have to go through a street of meat restaurants

My non-vegan friends loved it too - Edit
I took my non-vegan friends to the restaurant and their view on vegan meals totally changed. The tangerine smoothie was not very sweet, but I think it’s better for health. I loved the rose pasta!

You have to go there! - Edit
Highly recommend checking out Nammi when in Seoul. Others say that it‘s a little hard to find, but you just have to go up to the first floor and it clearly says “Nammi“ from the outside. Walkable distance from the next underground station. We tried the Pizza Margherita and the Curry Crêpe and both were just delicious! Prices are reasonable. Staff very friendly too and we had a quick chat with the owner as well. Restroom available. The only downside was that neither mine nor my boyfriend‘s Visa card worked for payment. But unfortunately this happens quite frequently when in South Korea. We would have gone again the next day, but because the restaurant closes slightly earlier on Sundays we didn‘t make it on time. I‘d love to go back!

Great food and kind staff - Edit
The veggie pizza was one of the best pizzas I had, and the burger was really great too! I was glad to see lots of locals there as well, impressive given the restaurant is only 5 months old and in a non-prime location. I would strongly recommend this place!

Truly Delicious - Edit
The food is delicious! We had the best surprise discovering portions are big and the taste is crazy amazing. You can tell a lot of effort is put into cooking and i've had the best vegan calzone ever! We were a bit sceptical about prices at first but in the end it was totally worth it!

Exceptional Restaurant! - Edit
I have been to Nammi Plant Lab only twice but I would totally recommend this restaurant for anyone who is in Seoul to visit and enjoy a lunch or dinner over there.
Read moreBoth times, I went there with non-vegans and our expectations only continued to be exceeded, they loved everything they tried: stuffed pizza-dough hamburger, which was very juicy, bomb marinara pasta, and the ultimate winners a.k.a garlicky aglio e olio spaghetti & crispy paprika seasoned potato wedges.
Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to try these (except the potatoes!) myself as a celiac, but luckily Nammi Plant had one gluten free option on the menu - tofu noodles salad, the veggies worked together beautifully, and the dressing was packed with flavor! By the end of our first meal we were planning our next visit.
The second time they run out for the ingredients for the tofu noodles, however the amazing kitchen staff went over and beyond and prepared for me an outside-of-menu gluten free meal, a "bokkeumbap" (also making sure to eliminate as much as possible any cross-contamination). The dish was absolutely delicious, and easily one of the most tastiest ones I had in Seoul.
Seriously, the taste is what matters in this restaurant, you are not going to regret it!
Pros: Amazing service and staff

Delicious, healthy, quality vegan food! - Edit
I went to Nammi Plant Lab because I heard from a friend that this was the "it" place to go for great vegan food in Seoul. I was super surprised at how tasty and delicious the food was!!!! The place is chic, modern, spacious. and cozy. The service was great, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
Read moreI had the burger and hummus pizza. YUM~~~!!!! I usually have a hard time eating some vegan food because they can taste like cardboard or some concoction of [censored], but Nammi's food blew my mind! I don't know how the chefs do it. I'm looking forward to more visits to Nammi!!!! Check it out!

We came to eat here after a hike and the food did not disappoint. The portions, especially of the calzones, were huge. The service was charming and the food was creative. I’ll be making the trip across town to eat here many more times. Probably my new favorite vegan place in Seoul.

Delicious Fresh Food - Edit
This has been the most amazing food I have had during my whole time thus far in Korea. If you are serious about eating fresh and healthy foods you HAVE to make it to Nammi! Christian and Ariel do an absolutely amazing job at creating delicious dishes that use fresh whole ingredients. I was told that they would be updating their menu in the next week or so, and I will definitely be eating here more often! Christian definitely knows what he is doing with the ingredients he uses and elevates them to an insane level of flavor! I tried the hummus pizza with the salad and orange smoothie, the meal also came with some bread slices with an olive spread and pickles. Everything I ate I would be happy to eat every day for the rest of my time here! If you are in Korea it would definitely be worth the trip out to Nammi to eat their food and talk with Christian and Ariel. The price was totally reasonable as well for the quality; my meal was only 16,000 wan.

I am thrilled that this place has opened up, considering I'd been wishing recently that I could get a vegan pizza somewhere in Seoul. Everything I got (hummus pizza, fries and a dipping sauce, tangerine smoothie) was clearly made with care. I look forward to coming back to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended.
