Namaste is in regular rotation for my vegan family - Edit
The food is wonderful, and the staff is very knowledgeable about which dishes are vegan and which are not.
Read moreMy family has been coming here for years. We moved out of Rio Rancho and still drive up from Albuquerque a couple of times a month for the buffet. I think of it as a warm home-cooked meal.
I recommend Namaste to people often and I find it quickly becomes their favorite as well.
I'm surprised at all the reviews that say the food has no flavor. I find the food to be extremely flavorful. It's worth noting that this is Napali cuisine is a bit different from Indian.
Pros: Buffet with yummy vegan and vegetarian options, Knowable staff, Great place to meet friends
Cons: Buffet is not open every day, Busy on buffet days, but still easy to get a seat, Naan is not vegan

Mediocre - Edit
It was easy to order vegan here, but the food was much less flavorful than other Indian options in the area.

There's better Indian food elsewhere. - Edit
It was alright. Nothing special. Not many fully vegan options. No non-dairy options. OK food if you're in a pinch for something closeby and not fast food

Best Indian restaurant in town! - Edit
This is the best place to eat Indian food. All you have to do is ask and they can veganize many menu items. There is a V next to the items on the menu that you can get vegan. The food is amazing! I always get the Mushroom Mattar Makhani, it is wonderful. They have plenty of spice in their food and the taste is right on the mark. The staff is wonderful and you never run out of liquids. The atmosphere is very quiet and comfortable. Some of the reviews say that this food is bland, I assure you it is not! Give it a try you will not be disappointed. They are highly reviewed on yelp.

Not even close to authentic indian food, nor are there ANY vegan options. - Edit
Really bad food, bland- nothing Indian about it. Food felt stale and a day old. How is it possible to get rice and dal wrong?!!

Very good! - Edit
I really like this restaurant. Someone wrote that it is bland. I don’t think so at all. I ordered the vegetarian platter and there was so much food I had to take most of it home. There are plenty of vegetarian options and several dishes that can be prepared vegan. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I’ll be back for sure!

Just OK - Edit
We wanted to try something different so we picked this place because it was Indian and Nepalese. Unfortunately, I found the food to be a bit on the bland side. We tried several dishes. The vegetable samosa appetizer came with two but they were HUGE. They were tasty but not the best. We also ordered the vegetable pakoras. They were good with the dipping sauces but bland on their own. We also got a rice dish and the vegan version of aloo mattar. The rice was very bland so my husband used it for his aloo mattar since it didn't come with rice. The aloo was nice but again a little bland. Overall, the food was OK but we wouldn't go back.
