Most Excellent Vegan-friendly Indian

The had several vegan options, and a bunch of vegetarian. We had paneer tikka masala (veggie), aloo matar (vegan), paratha bread (vegan). My husband ordered chai, which they made with coconut cream instead of milk.

The owners are so cool and friendly! Don’t miss this spot!

Pros: Vegan options for my honey!, Super fresh, homemade with care., Laid-back spot to relax and eat.

5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'd give it 5 stars if I could!

Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Everything we ordered was very delicious and probably some of the best vegan food I've ever had!

Happy cow doesn't allow 5 star reviews for non fully vegan/vegetarian places but they're a great spot who easily would be 5 star in my books!

Good Indian food with many vegan options

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant. We only ordered the samosas for appetizers, but the owners were kind enough to send us two additional vegan appetizers, on the house! They were all amazing, with good tamarind and mint chutney sauces. We shared the mixed vegetable curry and dal tadka. Both were good, but the best parts of the meal were the garlic naan (can be made vegan) and the special yellow rice we ordered to accompany the entrees on recommendation of the server. There is a vegan dessert, but after stuffing ourselves with all the appetizers and large portions of rice (not to mention the white rice that was sent out, also on the house!) we had no room left. We took home a significant portion of the entrees and rice which we ate the next day for a nice lunch of leftovers.

The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about vegan ingredients. As these are Covid times, it was nice that the menu was a QR code to reduce contact with fomites. Although the seating is indoors, the front wall is almost entirely open to the outdoors and they had many fans going for increased circulation.

Pros: great appetizers, friendly staff, contactless menu

Easy vegan ordering

It is so easy to order vegan here, in English or Spanish- just ask for what can be vegan. It’s also easy to eat a lot here, as the food is good and you’ll be totally relaxed knowing what you ordered is certainly vegan. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and the drinks are good.

Pros: Several good quality vegan options, Naan can be vegan!, Helpful, friendly service

Cons: No vegan desserts

Tasty Indian food!

Welcoming and knowledgeable--staff understood vegan and explained options readily. We had veg biryani (without raita), chana masala, papad, naan, and samosas. Two of the naan options are vegan. Everything was delicious. Has full bar. Definitely recommend.

Pros: Vegan options include protein, Multiple options, Tasty!

Awesome & Authentic

We literally stumbled across this restaurant after the original place we wanted to go was closed. We were greeted with open arms by Nasreem who also brought me a personal electric fan! (they don't have a/c & I was broiling! It's a family-run place & they all come from Mumbai. We ordered the samosas to start which came with a tamarind sauce & a mint sauce. Then I ordered the Chana Masala & yellow rice. My husband, who isn't vegan asked Nasreem to surprise him. She brought out the Chicken Tikka Masala & dry shrimp. We also shared the garlic naan. Everything was delicious! I even had enough to take back to the Resort for dinner the next day. I love this place! When you get sick of tacos, chips & guac (and you will!), check this place out.

Awesome, authentic vegan Indian food!

Having had Indian food in several States in the U.S., and having a partner who spent a semester internship in several States across India, I think both of us can say that this is seriously the best Indian food we've had anywhere in North America.

The place is cozy, but a nice balcony gives it an open-air feel. The owners - who are so sweet - commissioned a local artist for a gorgeous mural that spans one wall of their dining area. Their food is authentically spiced, and backed with fresh local produce. Pair with either their garlic naan or chapatis, wash it down with fresh-squeezed fruit juices from the kitchen, and you've found one of the best meals to be had in the middle of a hot Cabo day.

A note - if you're looking for beer or cocktails, they aren't served here, but the food stands very well on its own, and the fresh fruit juice really is a must-have refresher if you've been out in the sun for a few hours. My partner and I had the lemon-mint and the watermelon - both were the perfect thing for the afternoon heat.

Pros: Good, fresh, authentic Indian food , Wonderfully courteous owners and staff, Great refreshments

Cons: None, unless one insists on beer with each meal

Ate there three times in one week

I found this restaurant prior to arriving in Cabo San Lucas since I wanted an option for a dish without meat. Plus, my husband and I love Indian food. The prices are reasonable, especially breakfast. We were impressed with their breakfast. Their Indian food is very tasty. The place is on the small side and you have to go up the stairs to get to their seating area. Their kitchen is on the main floor. They have great service as well. It may take a little longer to get your food than other places, but they cook everything there fresh.

Pros: Tasty food, Great Price, View from the second floor out an open patio area

Cons: Wait time for food a little longer than usual, Kitchen on the first floor, Hard for people unable to do stairs
