Love this place! - Edit
I have been here many times, but this was my first time as a vegan. They have a few options for vegans. I had the miso soup, which was one of the best ones miso soups I’ve had, and the Crispy Veggie “sushi” roll, which was spectacular!

My favorite sushi - Edit
I love Nama because they have really good, creative, and flavorful vegetarian/vegan sushi. While most places only offer things like avocado and cucumber rolls, Nama offers several different rolls packed with lots of different veggies. My favorite is the crispy veggie. Th is tempura fried asparagus, cucumber, sprouts, gobo, and kanpyo topped with avocado and tempura sweet potato. For awhile they had a limited veggie menu because of Covid, but they’ve brought back the full menu so there are lots of other great options.

Nama has vegetarian sushi options, such as the spicy mushroom roll, delicious miso soup, fresh salads, veggie bowls with tofu, and more. It’s all fantastic. #Veganuary

Our Go To Restaurant - Edit
Our family goes to Nama frequently and recently choose to go there for my birthday dinner. The sushi is very creative and we all enjoy their bowl. Our family eats vegan and there are some good choices. We always have good service and appreciate all three locations in Knoxville.

I love Nama! The have a whole section of vegetarian rolls many of which are vegan. I’ve had the crispy veggie, spicy shiitake, pina, and Marley. All of them are good but crispy veggie and spicy shiitake are my favorite. The spicy shiitake is also on the half off roll special they have Monday and Thursday. This location is always less busy than the downtown location which is nice. They have a bowl you can get if you’re not a sushi fan but I always get sushi so I can’t attest to how good it is. What can I say the sushi is amazing!

Good Vegan Choices - Edit
This restaurant has been endorsed by the K-Town Vegans MeetUp Group as Vegan Friendly. We have had several group dinners at Nama Sushi. The menu is varied and the food quality is excellent. They have a lovely outdoor patio.
