Owner is extremely vegan friendly

My wife and I began eating here and mentioned wanting vegan options to the owner. he has since bent over backwards for us and really has fun with pushing the boundaries to make things vegan. He's even surprised us with vegan desert. This place is a must for lovers of extremely high quality vegan Indian food.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Staff are knowledgeable if you ask, Owner is willing to get experimental

This is real unadulterated Indian curry!

The service was great. We were fit in late and the seating attendant placed our order and advised us on what to order. The food is also very tasty, especially when not too hot.

Cost range for dinner is about $11-14 per dish. All the vegan options are same curry and there are about five choices. We ordered three and two were very spicy HOT! The mix veg was only cauliflower, bell pepper, onion and the hottest of all we purchased. The cauliflower and potatoes were very yummy and least hot. The eggplant was medium spicy hot.

We added roti that was prepared just right. The naan was a vegan option but we did not try it. It helps with the heat.

The only complaint is that every curry tasted and looked the same. The contents varied and were small in portion. The rice was generous, tasty and cooked perfectly.

I’m sure it would have been much more impressive if we were 50% vegetarian. Yogurts and creams were in many dishes and help to temper the spice.
