Great take-out Bento - Edit
We got caught out on the last orders kitchen close time for this little place - arrived 5 mins before they closed at 3. We spotted a sign for take out Bento boxes. We thought they would have some prepackaged that we could just grab but instead they went to the trouble of preparing them fresh including frying the soy meat for us when the kitchen was officially closed! The boxes were delicious and a bargain at Y1000 too.

Best chocolate cake EVER - Edit
This place is incredible! There are so many dishes to choose from it was really hard to narrow it down, the deep fried soy meat and deep fried mashed potato were so good! Highlight of our meal was desert though, that chocolate cake was incredible!

Satisfying! - Edit
Delicious meal and perfect portion. Nagi A with a beer was the best lunch I’ve had in days here! Table or Japanese floor style seating. Sweet hole in the wall kind of place you probably wouldn’t find outside of this app.

A lovely cosy place, with friendly English-speaking staff. Set plates are really good value for money and really tasty. I'll definitely be going back soon to sample some other options from the menu.

Delicious and great value for money - Edit
Everything we tried (set meal A and the curry meal) were delicious, and the setting is fantastic - half Japanese style seating, half western chairs and tables in a cozy family run restaurant. Thoroughly recommended.

Hidden vegan gem in Tokyo - Edit
Today I found a vegan gem in the Shibuya region of Tokyo. It is hidden down a few side streets, not too far from the famous scramble crossing. There is a sign outside luckily, written on a chalk board, as it is hard to find. It is underneath another restaurant so could be easily missed. We used google maps to find it which was a massive help. We ordered the vegan platter for two which included different vegan dishes from all over asia. Japanese tofu dishes, falafel and the amazing fried soy which is now my new favourite food! I even bought some off the lady who owned the restaurant to try to replicate it when I get back to England :) the restaurant is very “shabby”, but it added to the evening in our opinion. We sat at traditional Japanese tables (on the floor), which I personally love doing. Strongly recommend :)

Went for dinner. Pretty expensive and very tiny portions. A good place for a light meal of a few share plates.

If it wasn’t for google maps and other reviews I’d probably never find this place, but definitely a hidden gem! It’s pretty small but has nice music and the food was soooo tasty! I really enjoyed the food and the double chocolate cake was splendid!

Cozy With Tasty Food - Edit
This small vegan restaurant is tucked into a corner south of Shibuya station and has a characteristic home-like Japanese cafe atmosphere. I had the assorted set for one person and thought everything had really great flavour; I enjoyed it a lot. The ladies running it were sweet also. I took two mini muffins for later and they were really good too.

Lovely food - Edit
I used Google maps to find and glad I did or I would have missed it as it's tucked away on a lower level. The decor is a bit older, but as the famous phrase goes " don't judge a book by it's cover". I had the veg curry menu and I was blown away. I loved the flavours used and would go back in a heartbeat.

Charming place - Edit
We ended there accidentally but we loved the place: small, cosy, really nice owners and fantastic food. We asked for a big plate with plenty of different food (salad, beans, yuba, okra...) with soup and brown rice. We also try a delicious banana and plum cake.
