Good Vegan Options - Edit
A couple vegan options. Very good, but make sure you get there super early, wait times can get to 2 hours. Definitely worth it.

Tasty and a few options - Edit
I have a vegan option here which was tasty but ultimately mostly noodles with some corn and spring onions. The vegan sauce is delicious with a little spice to it. Would be improved by the addition of a vegan mayo

Very good - Edit
Great flavor, would definitely recommend a try. They offer two sauces and remove any non-vegan items from your table if you only order vegan. I enjoyed the warm and lively atmosphere.

Just ok - Edit
It’s great that they have a separate vegan menu. The vegan dumplings were good but in my opinion the okonomiyaki was quite tasteless.

This place is worth the wait in line! I love this style of okonomiyaki as it feels lighter somehow. Jam packed with noodles, cabbage, corn and bean shoots (I also had egg and cheese but they serve a vegan one), they also give you vegan sauce! I initially thought there was no way I would be able to eat it all but actually there is no way you could leave any, it is that good!

Exceptional food and ambience - Edit
This was one of the best meals I have ever had. There was quite a long wait at 6pm on a Monday, but it was definitely worth waiting for. There are a number of options, clearly marked, for vegetarians. The okonomiyaki was simply divine and will live long in the memory. The spicy sauce was so good that I bought a bottle on the way out.

Vegan options but not that yummie - Edit
We waited 45min (like expected from the comments below). My fiancé liked the okonomiyaki but i am not that happy with the 2 vegan dishes... they only taste of the onions which are added, the sauces to use for more taste did not help to "rescue" the taste. The ginger ale was tasty and refreshing.

Vegan ones are pretty much tasteless - Edit
The place is located very close to the dome and museum. The wait time is quite a lot. I reached there at 6 and had to wait about an hour to get a table. The menu clearly marks vegetarian/vegan options. They clearly make the vegan options with separate utensils and oils and clean the countertop once before they start cooking. The staff is really great and is one of the highlights of being there. There are a good number of options but they taste a bit bland. Vegan options need something more, it just didn't work for me. I added a lot of sauce to the okonomiyaki to get some taste but to no avail. The price would be about 1500 yen for okonomiyaki.

Long queue, appalling vegan option - Edit
After a long queue we realised the vegan options were extremely limited. We had the okonomyaki with the longer list of vegan ingredients. Despite it being basically the same as the non vegan options minus the non vegan ingredients, the price was higher than the non vegan options. I would not go back. One star for the nice servers and the experience of seeing it cooked in front of your eyes.

Long queue, and I preferred other okonomiyaki in Hiroshima - Edit
We waited for about 45 minutes for lunch here, probably due to its proximity to the peace park and a-bomb dome.
Read moreOnce inside, the experience was really fun and there were some obvious vegetarian options, but we found the okonomiyaki to be lacking a bit of flavour. At the time we wondered whether this was just because vegetarian okonomiyaki generally lacked a bit of flavour, but we tried okonomiyaki again in Okonomimura and found that much better, so I'd recommend trying there instead.
Pros: Fun to eat it directly from the hot plate, Clearly labelled vegetarian option
Cons: Lacking flavour, Long queue

Many vegetarian options and big portions - Edit
There was a queue but it went very fast and staff handed over menu to people waiting, so that we could order in advance and food was served soon after we were seated. Prices were around 1300-1600 yen. The place inside is very nice and dishes are served one a hot plate in the middle of a table.

Try it once if you have time - Edit
Waited an hour to get in and then 30 minutes for the food. The staff was friendly and did everything to smoothen the process. The food was ok, nothing special, the experience was more important here. Portion was big however.

We queued for about 45 minutes (as we were there at 1715 - queue was much longer by the time we entered). Had the vegan standard option - good portion size but flavour was a little plain without the provided vegan spicy sauce.

Bland - Edit
Noodles were bland, cabbage was bland, the only flavor comes from the sauce (which is good, to be fair) and the overwhelming garlic chips. I like garlic, but not as the only flavor. I came here during Golden Week when other—possibly better—places were closed. I won’t return.

Yum! - Edit
I loved their okonomiyaki and how easy it was to order a vegan okonomiyaki right off the menu. (Be warned that it is VERY garlicky though). Service was very good too. Be aware that the line moves slowly and can get very long. Try to eat at off-peak hours to avoid waiting too long.

Definitely worth a visit! - Edit
This is definitely somewhere I’ll tell everyone to go when visiting Hiroshima. Not only is it in an extremely convenient place (next to peace park), but the staff and menu are very straightforward. Just ask for vegan English menu and they’ll give you the booklet, no problem. They are very clean there and keep your food and utensils separate.
Read moreBe prepared for your breath to smell because the vegan option is predominantly spring onion and garlic chips. The corn and rice cake (like mochi) were a welcome addition. There was a labelled vegan spicy sauce already on the table and they brought me a vegan tame, sweet sauce (like tonkatsu) too. I felt very comfortable eating here in terms of cross contamination/communication about being vegan. It’s a fun way to eat food, and I left full.
We arrived just before 5pm on a Friday and we were shocked when we left to see a very long queue outside waiting to come in. We were lucky to walk straight in - plus I imagine if you are waiting, you will be waiting quite a while because each dish is a process and takes quite some time.
Editing with some reflection: after coming here I saw many other places you could get vegan okonomiyaki around Japan. I’m sure you could probably find a better one than this one elsewhere.
