Nothing special - Edit
We ordered the mezze platter for starters, which was good. They only have two entree options, couscous and pad Thai. The dressing on the couscous has honey, so you need to skip it. The pad Thai is sweet and spicy, i.e. not a pad Thai.

This place was ok, not special. - Edit
Got the vegan pad thai with tofu, 6/10 stars. The hummus & olives & pita was ok, not special, 5/10. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold, we were told kept at 67 degrees to keep humidity down because water features, and we couldn’t leave fast enough. We honestly would have fared better at a quick serve.

Top option in the park - Edit
The pad Thai, ravioli, and couscous are all wonderful veg options, as well as the lemon hummus appetizer. Definitely the most creative and diverse options in the parks

Best Theme Park Restaurant - Edit
They had a pad Thai with crispy tofu, option, hummus, with lemon, daily fish, special, and a ravioli dish. This restaurant had a full bar, friendly staff and beautiful views of the park.

Easy & Tasty Vegan Options - Edit
The hummus is very good and the waitstaff wisely recommended we order additional pita bread. Unique Phad Thai option with grilled tofu - neither too peanutty nor too limey, however it was very tasty and an ample portion.

#1 Theme Park Restaurant - Edit
This award-winning, full-service restaurant is in The Lost Continent at Universal's Islands of Adventure. "Reservations: not required, but recommended" is somewhat of a myth. In peak times you do have to make a reservation, but don't let that give you any reservations about eating here. You can literally walk in, get your name on the list, leave to do a ride & come right back, and get called. - Voice of Experience 😉
Read moreModifications for "veganizing" vegetarian offerings are clearly noted on the menu. Options are that of Mediterranean or Asian cuisine and include casually elegant entrées & starters. My friends and I left stuffed, but satisfied. Because the food was so good (& so pricey 🙃) we felt obligated to enjoy every last bit of it 😅😋
Pros: Fun, attentive to details, mythical-themed setting, menu has at least three quality vegan options, & the food is fancy, flavorful, & filling!
Cons: Most expensive meal of my trip; however, it is "fine dining" and I wore a t-shirt & shorts, so no complaints! 😁😂

Cross contamination - Edit
Dairy and pig products are cooked in the same oil with french fries and fried pita and any other fried things. We told the waiter some of us are vegan and can not have any animal products, made sure to specify no dairy, no egg, etc. My entire family even the non vegans got really sick eating here. The vegans in our group had the pad Thai , mezze platter without the babaganoush (has dairy) and modified souvlaki cous cous with tofu. Everything tasted poor.

Best Universal Restaurant! - Edit
I got the vegan pad thai at mythos! It was so flavorful. The tofu was seasoned well, the salt they use is soooo delicious. Probably some of the best pad thai I’ve ever had.

Wonderful Cauliflower Steak! - Edit
My husband and I reserved a dining slot while at Universal, and we NOT disappointed. We got the mezze platter, but with no babaganoush (it has milk). We then each had an order of the vegan cauliflower steak! It was done in a very unique way and even had “caviar” (black lentils).

Oil to the max - Edit
We started with the mezze platter which was hummus, olives, baba ganoush (which I removed) and pita bread. Really good appetizer! I got the cous cous bowl with tofu no oil and it was pretty good. The dish was just full of oil and made me feel ill for hours to come. If you go ask for less oil.

Amazing food and service - Edit
Great food and service. Had the risotto made vegan and it was amazing. Server even brought us olive oil and balsamic instead of butter with our bread.

Decent option - Edit
I had a plant based pasta dish which had vegan “chicken” which tasted nice. I found the dish under seasoned and lacking something to help make it stand out. The atmosphere was boring and our waitress seemed like she was trying to get us to leave as soon as possible. Its a good option if you’ve got nowhere else to go but i certainly won’t be returning.

Served risotto that was not vegan - Edit
We made a reservation at Mythos for our first day at Universal. They seemed to have the most vegan options in the park. We made sure to tell the waiter that we were all vegan. The Pad Thai and new plant based pasta were delicious however we were also served the risotto which was supposed to be made vegan. The risotto came with Parmesan and cream which we discovered after the first few fork fulls ☹️. They did take them back and gave us a replacement meal and did not charge us for the risotto.

eh - Edit
Our meal started off with really tasty bread, and our server bringing us olive oil instead of butter to put on it without us having had to ask. That was great and all but the Pad Thai had no protein and the mezz plate was kind of sad.

Although they have few vegan options, the meals served were very tasty. We had risotto and pad thai and we loved It. We super recommend this spot.

A few vegan options - Edit
First, kudos to this place for offering vegan options at Universal. But expect to be limited to 3 or 4 options. We had a vegan appetizer, and the vegan Pad Thai. I was disappointed that there was no protein replacement such as tofu for the shrimp and chicken though. Same price as the regular dish for the vegan option without protein. The flavor was good though.

couple options - Edit
While spending our day at Islands of Adventure, we stopped in to make a reservation here when they opened (highly recommended as it gets busy) for a late lunch. The menu indicated that the risotto and pad thai could be prepared vegan. When we returned, we asked to be seated outside as it was still pleasant enough. No one else was there, so we had the patio to ourselves. The risotto was seasonal vegetables with mushrooms and beets which was quite good. The pad thai was too heavy on the sweet and sour sauce, so it was just okay. It was nice to see vegan marked on the menu and that we didn't need to leave the park for lunch.

Weak for Vegans - Edit
I knew full well that Universal was a wasteland for vegans, but reviews indicated that Mythos had a few options for us. Not so much. I saw one: the vegan pad thai referenced in the earlier review. Unlike the previous reviewer, I was not at all impressed by it. It was credible, but completely lacking in the spice that drives a good pad thai. This was really rather bland-- and it was the only option.
Read moreVegetarians may fare better at Mythos, but vegans are better off popping over to "Lisa's Teahouse of Horror" on the other island and getting hummus and veggies.

It was a couple of years ago that I had a Vegan Pad Thai at this restaurant. However it was absolutely mouth watering. The best Pad Thai I have ever tasted.
