Great service and food. - Edit
I took a chance on this coffee shop with an omni friend. It’s a super cute spot and I love their outdoor picnic tables. I was afraid we wouldn’t end up with a table to sit at because a line popped up out of nowhere, but service was fast and we were able to sit down as soon as we were done ordering. The staff even brought everything out to us at our table, which was an exciting surprise.
Read moreI ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich with soyrizo. It was absolutely delicious. I get nervous ordering at new places because I hate asking a million questions, but here it was pretty easy since they have many vegan options. My coffee was good too, plain black, and tasty. I will definitely drop by here again.
Pros: Coffee, Vegan eats!

Best Vegan Breakfast! - Edit
Mystic Mocha is an incredible coffee shop located in University Heights, San Diego. This spot is close to North Park, which can be intimidating for parking reasons but I never struggle to find a spot close by.
Read moreThis local SD coffee shop offers extremely friendly service & delicious craft coffee drinks (and wine & beer…yay!) Also, if you’re looking for a delicious vegan breakfast, look no further. I want to recommend the chilaquiles (most popular dish) first, but I’m hooked on the sandwiches (also desperate to try one of the sought after burritos). The staff is very accommodating and will cater to your specific dietary needs, which I love/appreciate.
I never came here under the last ownership, but from what I can tell, the new owner, Izzy, has revamped and upgraded everything. I'm not surprised that it just won Best Café in San Diego Magazine. I’ll continue to come back for numerous reasons, you should too.
Pros: Lots of vegan options., Staff is friendly and very accommodating., Comfortable atmosphere.

yum 😋 - Edit
I liked the chai and tamale that I got here. The barista I spoke to was clearly prepared to discuss vegan versions of the veggie and soyrizo items.
